Love the 1964-1969 Gladiator! Good luck. I wish I had the time, skills and garage space to get a classic like that.I've been waiting since the first prototype since 2005.
Sick of waiting in 2006, I satisfied myself, bought a Comanche pickup. 10 years. Loved every moment.
Sick of this BS and the price nonsense, I am now going to buy a 1964-1969 Gladiator (I like that grille).
I will own a 2020 ish JT. When I think price is right, not according to any timeline of Jeep.
Yea, just realized something was wrong. Saw the di, got excited. Haven't slept in a while, so I'll see myself out.Thats not a Diesel...
That’s the best deal I’ve seen on a raptor since the gen 2 came out. For a new one that is. That shouldn’t last but maybe a couple more days. Under MSRP is unheard of on those.LOL....like 63 miles away for me.....race ya there
No worries man, glad we got the record straight.Yea, just realized something was wrong. Saw the di, got excited. Haven't slept in a while, so I'll see myself out.
Except, in order to drive a used one at $300 a month you'd have to wait about 5 years before purchasing.Holy crap, I'm not leasing. $3700 due at signing plus $300 per month for 48 months, $18,100 spent on jeep with msrp of $28,000. That's roughly 65% of its value, but kbb just said a 3-5 year old wrangler would still retain something like 52-65% of its value.
Better off buying a used one and selling it two years later.
OH really? Well no money down would change things then.Except, in order to drive a used one at $300 a month you'd have to wait about 5 years before purchasing.
And, it's a rule of thumb that you don't put money down on a lease. They tell you it requires money down just to try and get people to give them free money, but you don't have to. You can negotiate with them and they'll usually give in on that.
Yeah never pay anything up front. Also when you lease they give you a guaranteed purchase amount at the end of the lease. It could be away to get into the jt then purchase. Ofcourse there is also a pay off amount you can do at anytime to buy the vehicle. Just need to make sure you are able to buy it out, without penalty. When we leased our crv the purchase price at time was 28k. In a year and a half into the lease the buyout was 19k. Also when they advertise a price for the model and trim for a lease deal bring that advertising with you. They will try and bait and switch you to a more expensive lease.OH really? Well no money down would change things then.
However, if you buy new and in 3 years the jeep is still worth 65% of its original $28,100 price, that's only $273 per month depreciation. So you don't have to wait 5 years for that.
Sounds like you need to make a friend who is mechanic! The finding, deal making, transport, etc of something only pictured is the love of crazy! Stressful, exciting. I've got my fingers crossed and will post a pic when I get one in my driveway..Love the 1964-1969 Gladiator! Good luck. I wish I had the time, skills and garage space to get a classic like that.
2022 is what I heard (video) and read . . . it's ALL speculation, more and more speculation ! A well know tactic to drum up IDEAS from the faithful & others so jeep can get a feel for what is "really" wanted ! Jeep always listens to the "Faithful". it's why we have a JT after all these yearsI'm waiting to see Dodge's release of the Mini-Ram (Dakota) scheduled for next year I believe.
