Curious about this as well...Has anybody ran this with a stock Rubicon? I’m reading through the fitments and it seems like for a stock Rubicon, you’ll need the bump stops installed as well…

I wonder about the Steer Smarts Brace, doesnt seem like their product description mentions any lift required. If you are talking about the metal cloak brace, take a piece of cardboard and line it up flat against the frame cross brace extending to the top of the pit man arm.
That is where that brace will mount, you can check to see if it looks like any of your suspension parts will make contact with the carboard at that location under compression. Driver side compression would likely be the more concerning compression clearance check.
The Metal cloak brace is pretty slim and out of the way.
I installed my Steersmart brace on my stock at the time JTRD.I wonder about the Steer Smarts Brace, doesnt seem like their product description mentions any lift required.
How?I have the steersmarts on a Mojave. No grinding on anything to make it fit. Installed and lined up perfectly.
Bump stops for a pitman shaft brace??So, the Steer smarts doesn’t state it needs 2” bump stops like the Synergy one does. Does the Rubicon need to be drilled out in order to install the 2” bump stops required for Synergy?
Yep, synergy requires it if you’re using the stock track bar. Probably cause if you bottom out, it’ll smack the brace.Bump stops for a pitman shaft brace??
That makes sense. Synergy had the spacers that bolt to the spring perch. My overland had the hole for thoseYep, synergy requires it if you’re using the stock track bar. Probably cause if you bottom out, it’ll smack the brace.
However, I found my answer. Checked the bump stop mounts for the Rubicon and there are already holes drilled into it so it’s just bolt on!
Gonna go with Synergy.
