for what it is worth,, I have two sets of wheel for Archie. The stock ones that I just switched back to for winter, and a set of Dirty Life bead locks on 35's that I run for everything else I do.. point being though,, My beadlocks and sensors were a direct transfer from my JK. no changes except for having two sets of lugs also. And yes,, both sets of sensors work just fine.
Interesting. And the STFA feature works with your 35s?

Jk sensors will work but not for the STFA. If you get a set of JK sensors working with the be STFA I'd be shocked.

will see. I air down with some auto deflator's and then air back up using a quality pressure gauge. have not looked at this app or used it. I was mainly just pointing out that my JK sensors work on the JT.

Ok. Yeah that has been established and confirmed by the Jeep guru. This thread is about STFA and what is needed to make that work.

This has nothing to do with the sensors. I have cross checked the sensor numbers from multiple Vins both with and without fill alert and all of the sensors are the same part number.

All glads have the same senor. The sensor DOES matter if you are swapping wheels and tires and opt for a set of aftermarket or JK sensors which DO work for pressure reading but DO NOT work for the selectable tire fill alert.

Now that I've cleared that up again. If you don't have STFA in your rubicon then you need a update from Jeep that may or may not ever show up.

Has to be Gladiator TPMS sensors for the STFA to work, I experienced this first hand. Maybe the first person to do so. Our part number is 68464665AA...direct from a Jeep employee

Here's what I got from Mopar re a potential difference in sensors:

Thank you for contacting the Jeep Customer Assistance Center.

I have had a moment to review your request. I did some checking and was only able to confirm a single part # for the TPMS module for the Gladiator. This part number is listed as: 68410628AD. Normally if there are other parts that would fit here it will list additional numbers with the related sales codes for the part number to determine which options the part works with. In this case, as there is only one, it indicates the part spans then entire line and options for the vehicle. I am not able to confirm if an aftermarket part will work for the Gladiator, but can confirm the OEM part for the TPMS module is listed as: 68410628AD
It seemed like they might have misunderstood my question, since the part number didn't correspond to a sensor, so I inquired further:

Thanks for the response. It looks as though 68410628AD is the TPMS control module, whereas I was asking about the sensors themselves. Would you mind confirming that the sensors are common to both STFA and non-STFA models?
And the response:

Thank you for contacting the Jeep Customer Assistance Center.

As mentioned previously, there are a single set of part numbers listed. If there were additional parts based on specific options they list them with a note related to the sales code for the for that option. For the sensors themselves they come in a kit of 4. The related part number is: 68464665AA.
This seems to indicate that there is no difference in Gladiator sensors, but the JL/JK sensors that work for regular TPMS duty may not work for STFA duty since they seem to have a different part number. I've got some aftermarket JL sensors in my new wheels, so hopefully I'll be able to report on this with a definitive answer once my truck arrives.

I spoke with the head of development for the Wrangler and Gladiator. All JT sensors work for STFA. No other sensors work for that

So, I am assuming that the spare tire does not have the sensor like the JK & JL?

Hello,
Our team was notified late September that this feature was now available. If a process is released to retrofit this feature, we will be sure to reach out on the appropriate threads. If your vehicle has this feature, it will be stated on your window sticker. I hope this provides some clarification. I do apologize that I do not have more information at this time.

Good Afternoon,
Early build Gladiator Rubicons do not have this feature, as it was still being prepared for release. As far as we are aware, new Gladiator Rubicons do have this as standard equipment. As of now, there is no way to retrofit this to early build Gladiator Rubicons.

I hate to be a contrarian but her goes. Alex states Jeep Cares was notified that the Selectable Tire Pressure Alert System just became available in late September. Today in post #75 he also says, "as of now there is no way to retrofit early build Gladiator Rubicons".

Here come the contradictions...

#1: In November 2018 at the LA Auto Show, Mr Brandon Girmus who was introduced as the Jeep Gladiator brand manager gave a full presentation and described the Selectable Tire Fill Alert system. He said it was available on the Rubicon Gladiator. See this video starting at about the 14 minute mark.

#2: Video posted in April 2019 by Doug Demuro not only described the STFA system but also showed it in a Rubicon Gladiator. This video appears to have likely been sponsored. See the video starting around the 17 minute mark.

These are only two of a plethora of media resources highlighting the STFA System. It appears that based on the earlier FCA media that the STFA was available and produced on earlier releases of the Gladiator, then apparently there was an issue and it became unavailable. At the time of my purchase in August my dealer said there was an issue, and when resolved there would be a software update for the fix. Then according to Jeep Cares it just became available in September and there is no retrofit for earlier build Gladiators. Obviously the system was viable and was a focus of touting at the LA Expo in November of 2018 and was a reality in the Gladiator shown in the video published April of 2019. What happened between April and September?

Hello Jeepcares (Alex),

A couple more weeks has passed and we haven't heard anything new. Have you guys received any updates regarding the status of a retrofit plan to make good on the Rubicons that didn't come equipped with the Select Tire Fill Alert system. I'm kind of speaking for everyone, but I'm sure we all deserve and would appreciate an update. Maybe you could reach out to FCA again. Thanks for your time.

Hi Steven,
I did reach out earlier last week and did not hear back, but I will follow up today and post out if I hear anything.
