@JeepCares are idiots...they were not helpful at all during my build and are just puppets of the larger corporate monster. There is obviously something wrong with the software and Jeep is keeping those cards close to their vest until it is worked out.

It seems like that, the social media teams have a tough job. the essentially have a direct conduit to get information, but lots of the teams that would provide that information don't. I've worked in one of those groups that had to work with the social media communications teams and they definitely try very hard to get answers. a lot of the times there are non-answers until there is one. IF this is something FCA is working on, they aren't going to give incremental updates, just an update if and when they get it done. Honestly, the best option is to just fire up the dealers and let them know that this is happening. I can understand the frustration, I'm frustrated too that this feature was listed as a standard option and isn't available on my top of the line Rubicon LE, but its not the @JeepCares team's fault people don't give them answers.

I think as unfortunate that it may be, @JeepCares should just say "I do not have that answer"...my experience getting my Gladiator was full of misstatements and inaccuracies and it was just frustrating. This forum had the most accuracy and it frustrated my dealership. I always contradicted what I was being told by the General Manager and in the end I almost walked away from the deal even with my JT sitting on the lot in front of me. The late release of colors was very frustrating, the lack of a trailer brake controller is very frustrating and so is the lack of the STFA...But that is what we all get for buying a brand new car months after it hits the lot...

Very true. “I don’t know but I will try to find out” is what I tell my folks to say instead of making up stuff. I think they’ve done pretty well all things considering. And you are 100% correct, the truck hasn’t even been out a year.

Alex, Please inform FCA the answers is not sufficient, The model I have came with tires, it came with TPMS, and yet a $5.00 app is DENIED on my $1595 upgraded 8.4 display because it is doesn't have a Rubicon decal on the hood, that's is beyond Greedy

Hi Alex,

You're correct in saying "This feature is only available on Gladiator Rubicons." The major point of this thread is unfortunately you are wrong in making this statement. Most of the purchasers of Rubicon's or Launch Editions do not have the STFA, or presumably not functional. In this thread there is are many advertisements indicating the STFA is standard equipment on all Rubicon's but again IT IS NOT. Please refer to thread #120 and watch the videos. Also in thread (#120) you quoted that you had reached out to FCA regarding this debacle and was waiting for a response. It has been about a month now, any response?

Not on my rubicon either. It is an option in the settings, but when I check the box, it instantly goes away
When did you order? Was your engine on when you were in the settings? Mine did exactly what you're describing but one of the members informed me that your engine shouldn't be on when you're in the settings. Mine worked perfectly fine once I did that.

Every time I read this thread I get more annoyed that I can’t use this on my LE, and that Jeep doesn’t seem to be interested in fixing that. It seems like it’d just take a software update, like how is it not just a software issue?

I think that it probably is, but they are "fixing it" and they aren't going to give incremental status updates, thats how big companies just work. I have a friend who's FCA Minivan had its headunit bricked doing an OTA Update. I'm sure the are doing some testing to make sure stuff like that doesn't happen again as well!

I ordered on 9/4...just went out and tried it without engine running and it worked. Thank you!

So I love this feature. Picked mjne up Monday and after about 5min on the road I noticed the pressure had climbed substantially and was now starting affect the steering. Pulled into a reststop set the low threshold and started airing down each tire and the horn beeped exactly at the setting I had put it at. Very handy but the lowest pressure setting is like 20 I think. I'm hoping the Tazer can set that lower in the future. For those of you who don't have it. It's not worth the bitching and stress you are putting into it. Is it neat? Yes. Is it worth being upset about.... Naw.
