I'll admit it, my wife and I love a good camp shower after a long day of MTB'ing. The Rebel Off-Road rack keeps shining with it's endless mounting configurations so I decided to add an EccoTemp hot water shower under the 23 Zero cube. All it takes is a propane source and a 12v water pump to enjoy a rinse before bed.

I went with a SEAFLO 3.0 GPM 45psi 12V pump from Amazon with 1/2" OD barb and some tubing to match from Home Depot. I also added a quick disconnect at the shower end to remove the tubing when taking out the tank in the bed for winter. Just hook up the shower to the 10lb propane tank, squeeze the trigger and you're clean!

Treat yourself to a hot shower on the next adventure or keep your hands from freezing while doing dishes in the morning... or both.

I noticed you have the Falcon adjustable shocks - are you running them with the stock Rubi springs? What setting do you have them on? And really nice set up!!

I think I found just what I was dreaming of jerry rigging all ready and done for me. I looked at DIY pvc piping to hold water for showers or dish washing. Looked at putting in a tank with a 12v water pump, and even the propane hot water heaters. For the wife you know, me? A wet rag and a cup to pour water over me is fine. I think this sprayer will fit our needs. Yes, I will need to boil some water and pour it into the tank for her, but that is not too much of an inconvenience. It holds over 4 gals, plenty enough for a wet and rinse shower. Its compact enough and mobile as well to move wherever you set up your bathroom/shower popup tent.

Hey there,
I'd check out the Nemo Helio units before this Amazon version. No batteries, more compact and more water with the LX version... plus same MSRP. Nemo makes very high quality products and I've personally used one of these in conjunction with boiling water from a Jet Boil for an awesome hot shower.

I was looking at a BAM manufacturing spun aluminum tank that you can pressurize. Kinda pricey. Holds 10 gallons 3 gallons of air. Pressure from already on board air.

I've been using the the 7 gallon Road Shower from Yakima since last year. It attaches to your rack and is solar powered. You can pressurize up to 65 lbs with an air pump or bicycle pump. The 7 gallon is good for about 10 minutes of hot water and can get up to 115 degrees temp. No moving parts or hookup to propane or electric. Really nice no maintenance accessory.

Love that people are still participating in this thread.

FWIW, my wife and I used the Lunatec Aquabot (with tube extension) for quite some time and loved it too. We did about 1/2 cold water and 1/2 Jetboil water for a nice HOT shower. This will easily clean off a dirty body and even a short hair cut kinda head if you conserve it. Just another option :)

Also, the wand that comes with the Eccotemp shower is garbage and already broke. I ordered the Joolca En Suite Plumbing kit and this wand if far superior

@darkhorse13 thanks again for answering my pms and posting this diy. Finally have ours put together, and very happy with the setup. Didn't bother to fool around with the Eccotemp shower head and right away ordered the Joolca as you posted. An OVS shower room to match our 270 degree awning. Just a few things I did differently, we wanted the option to carry a little more water in case we do some cleaning at our rural property. Ordered the 32 gallon tank, basically same size as the 20 gallon you posted but 5" taller. In doing that I knew I had to build some sort of frame for support so I had ordered some 20/20 T track to play with. The harbor freight 4800 case was exact fit for the Eccotemp, so instead of hacking it up to vent and holes for provisions in the bottom for attachments, just decided to put a couple of stainless bolts on the outside and hang the eccotemp off it, to make it work

Do you guys notice any issues with the clear tubing over time? Any growth on the inside or does it stay clean?

Back in 2013, we experienced a 500 year flood in the canyons above Denver/Boulder. No gas for hot water, but we had electricity for the well pump and electric stove. I got a metal bodied garden sprayer from ACE, put some PEX tubing and a shower head on the end of it. Heat water up however you like (stove, fire, sun, engine, etc.), fill it up with whatever hot/cold mixture suits you, pump it up, and you're good to go. Plenty for me to get a full shower with water to spare. My wife has enough to shower, including washing her hair. Not as slick as some of the above options, but I can't imagine I have more than maybe $20 in it...

I was thinking of pressurizing the spigot when I run the power washer at our rural place. Then again the other hose is pressurized, I could probably just find a quick disconnect for that. The frame worked out well, loosen a turnbuckle on each side and the whole unit slides out as you intended.
