Define “breaking the bank”. If you want to be 100% in love happy with your step sliders and have every family member be happy in love with them too then get Rockslide Engineering’s Step Sliders and never look back with any regrets. These steps are hands down one of the smartest and best upgrades you will ever make.

White Knuckle Off-road makes a phenomenal slider as well. I have mine, just haven’t gotten around to installing them.
White Knuckle for me and installed. Only think I did change was they didn't use stainless steel nuts for the insert hardware. I believe the button head was but the nut wasn't. No big deal to me but good to know before completely installing. Built to take a beating for sure. I personally don't step on them much but frame mounted and worth every penny.
On a side note... I bought these before my bumpers and had my bumpers powder coated to match the sliders.

I’ve been eyeing these from LOD Off-Road, sort of resemble that OEM rock slider look and solidly built. https://lodoffroad.com/products/jeep-jt-gladiator-destroyer-rocksliders
My Gladiator hasn't shown up yet, but sliders will be on the short list since its a Mojave.

I have the LOD sliders for my JK and those things are amazing. If you don't want body damage and you really offroad on rocks, skip anything mounted to the pinch seam. Go frame mounted. My rubi sliders on the JK bent up into the body on a nasty hit. The frame mounted LODs have had some rough impacts and not even dented. I have LOD bumpers on the JK too and they have all held up really well for 6+ years.

I was considering the ARB rock sliders for under $1K. IF you can get away without the need for the drop down step on the Rockslide Engineering ones you can save $1K. (they seem very similar just with no dropdown step) I do NOT have any personal experience with either.

I tried to buy the ARB sliders through Northridge 4x4 a couple of months ago and they were out of stock with no ETA on being available. Not sure if that's still the case but I needed something before doing the Rubicon so I had to go another route.

Maybe the supply is now in stock. Not ready to buy yet anyway, but good to know. What did you end up with?

I initially bought the Metalcloak Overland sliders but had issues with them. With the large step they flexed up into the body when used heavily. I used them to pivot around some large boulders and had a lot of weight sitting on them.

I reached out to Metalcloak about this because I didn't expect this to happen. Their products are pretty stout and I expected the same here. They are exchanging them for the Overline sliders. I already shipped back the old sliders and am waiting for them to ship out the Overlines. I'm probably going to install the ExoSkin to cover the damage in the body. They aren't as functional as a step but I need them to hold up to heady use off road.

I have the White Knuckle sliders. They are bomb proof. They will out last the JT. I've dropped 3ft onto a boulder with them. The only damage was that i peeled the LineX coating off the bottom of them. They are frame mounted.

Am I seeing correctly those White Knuckle sliders go under the stock rubicon rails? Did you literally have to do nothing to the stock rails? I've been looking for that type of solution and also don't want to lose my weather tech mudflaps that are flush up against the stock rails.

They have the option to have the Rubicon rails or not... high quality you could definitely lift the Gladiator up on the sliders
