More disappointment.

The manual shift lever is the only reason I'm still driving Jeeps. I hate push-button transfer cases and Jeep is just about the only one without it.Also get rid of the manual t-case lever and park brake lever and give me some more center console storage space.
I love the 'reliability' aspect of the manual stuff, but in midsize truck you sacrifice so much space just for that...
More stickers and paint.
And maybe some questionable upholstery.

Dang.![]()
Wait, did you not see it comes in black, white, AND grey??
What about the blue decals?? How bout grey stock wheels and some berber floor mats? YES please.
Talk about a special edition!![]()

TBH at this point it still being a manual shift lever would barely make it into my 'pros or cons' list. Most of us are still depending on the electrically actuated shift fork on the front axle for it to actually go into 4WD anyway, even if its a manual lever. The manual shift lever is the only reason I'm still driving Jeeps. Same for me.The manual shift lever is the only reason I'm still driving Jeeps. I hate push-button transfer cases and Jeep is just about the only one without it.
I've met the dixxon boys, and have driven by their store. They're part of a hype scene in Phoenix AZ back when another group of riders/friends started another biking accessory business around the same time. Said business ended up going under for multiple reason: fraud, unlicensed operations, etc. Dixxon was bordering the unlicensed operations issue for quite some time, even their store was doing some things they definitely shouldn't have been. It’s the new lingo. A flannel shirt maker named Dixxon started doing this a couple of years ago. Real popular with Harley riders. Dixxon would “drop" a new style, limited edition, pricey, and everyone would clamber for it, and end up with a whole closet full of Dixxon shirts. It drives a lot sales.
I bought one to see what the hullabaloo was about. Not really a fan of a polyester flannel shirt. Kinda scratchy, but it looks good...
...hanging in my closet.
The exact reason the wrangler doesn't have an FAD anymore.TBH at this point it still being a manual shift lever would barely make it into my 'pros or cons' list. But, it's a big point for some folks and that's totally fine.
Turns out "real buyers" don't want to pay attention to the road and put in effort to travel and would rather use their phones in the vehicle. Actually, turns out real buyers don't actually want to drive themselves, they just want a chauffeur with looks and status. That's 100% real world feedback from actual Jeep buyers outside social media comment sections.
It's too loud, too slow, too hard to load kids in, to high, rides rough, doesn't have X, Y, Z luxury features.
Turns out real buyers, don't want bare floors, no tops, no doors, and manual everything.
Have you seen the INEOS Grenadier? They make a truck too! not for much longer though..... Sales are not there. Too bad because I like it but I can't afford it lolI've met the dixxon boys, and have driven by their store. And your comment is the most common "I bought one to see what the hullabaloo was about. Not really a fan of a polyester flannel shirt. Kinda scratchy, but it looks good..." and most (if not ALL) of their customer base is HD owners, or fan...not even HD owners. And most of the ones I met are the stereotypical HD mentality, coming from someone who worked for HD twice (for the money).
Dixxon is overrated, over hyped, and tbh, the quality/comfort just isn't there....not for the price they're asking. "BuT tHeY'rE mAdE fOr BiKeRs, By BiKeRs, YoU jUsT dOn'T gEt It..." and I will laugh when they finally go under, like HD.

- If you're looking at a wrangler/gladiator and expect it to be equivalent to a RAM1500/Sierra, while being smaller, and while being fuel efficient, and being lower priced...get your head fixed!
- - If you want a real 4x4, expect to operate a REAL 4x4, not some granny nannied 4wd body-on-frame soccer wagon that will take over when you're lazy or want to text.
Man if MB would just make a variant of the G-Wagon into a truck...maybe the uppity buyers of Jeeps will stop ruining the brand, at least for the Wrangler/Gladiator...especially since most buyers who want those features end up in one of the 2 highest priced trims that end up about the same price as the G-Wagon.
But in reality, the real reason vehicles have all these nannies and "features" isn't because people wouldn't buy them without them. The federal government mandates manufacturers to include these safety "features" as standard...just like the Remote Kill Switches starting with MY2026 vehicles across the board. (Enjoy that research).
- The "reasoning" behind this: if people won't be responsible when driving, then we will just make it so they have less ability to cause an accident, and when they do, it will be harder for them to prove they maintained control because the vehicle took over for them when it deemed them unfit/uncapable of driving in that moment.
- - Don't believe me? Auto-braking. Lane departure warning AND intervention. Blind spot monitors. 360 cameras. Hill hold assist. Adaptive cruise control. All of these "features" are because people keep getting into accidents when they could have been easily prevented by a responsible driver who's in control, and not distracted.
Sometimes we need natural selection and stop interfering with nature. Man I miss Darwinism in society.
The truck is like $20k more than the SUV because it’s taxed differently with import taxes. It doesn’t make sense in the US.Have you seen the INEOS Grenadier? They make a truck too! not for much longer though..... Sales are not there. Too bad because I like it but I can't afford it lol
If you think Jeep isn't doing whatever it takes to put the most units in the most hands at the highest per unit price, I'm not the one who needs my head fixed.Turns out "real buyers" don't want to pay attention to the road and put in effort to travel and would rather use their phones in the vehicle. I never implied that? But we need to start teaching responsibility and stop giving everyone a participation trophy. I'm tired of having "near misses" because Susan can't stay off her phone while the car keeps swerving, because Timmy can't pull over and park to eat his sandwich for 2 minutes, or because people have massive egos or are too high on drugs to function in society. If you think Jeep isn't doing whatever it takes to put the most units in the most hands at the highest per unit price, I'm not the one who needs my head fixed.
If you need the most rugged vehicle ever, only testosterone, manual everything, rides like a cast iron wheel on a cobblestone street because you're a MAN hand crank to start it because you ain't no sissy, actually just carry it up the mountain because you're HARDCORE.
A, you've already lost all that by purchasing a modern Gladiator in any trim.
B. Jeep doesn't give the remotest of cares and will happily leave you by the wayside for those "uppity" folk with the money or credit to purchase
Sounds like the Subaru Ascent. Think I'm kidding? Go count the cup holders. Leather? Check. 22s, not factory bus 20s are WITH low profile tires. And you best believe Subaru peeps use LED bars too!Ultimate Mall Crawler Edition - 20 cup holders, suede leather interior, 22" rims w/ low profile tires, and multi-color LED light bars all the way around the roof line.
