WVYankee2:

What make and model is that? Sold my Ram 2500 and moving from a great 29' Keystone Laredo 291TG w full outside kitchen to something new and am looking to see who is towing what with their Gladiator. We knew we were going to have to downsize, but finding something comparable isn't even close. Happy Camping and thanks for any info!!
Forest River Wildwood X-Lite 171RBXL 22' tongue to bumper. Great inexpensive little camper! 4000 pound dry.

Thanks wvyankee! That’s actually one of the models that we’re seriously considering

I restored a 1966 whaler. Sanded, ground out the crazing did barrier coat and redid/replaced the wooden furniture. Took a year working slow but I put the motor on this week. Splashed it today for the first time in a couple years. Hopefully it goes another 40-50 years before a rebuild again.

Used the beach trailer I will probably put it my lower trailer for real ramps. This thing needs a huge drop off to float it off. Backed up to the rear tires almost in the water the boat is out of the water a good bit. This trailer is good to drive down state beaches and through dune trails however.

Still need to see the graphics guy but he’s closed for Covid. Might just throw it on the mooring and get to him in the fall. Tows much better than my 6000# sailboat. But you can still feel every bump.

Whats it like towing without mirrors? Its not like the ones on the JT are partiularly useful for towing anyways, lol

We tow a camper that weighs around 5500 lbs with our gear in it. After two local trips, happy to report the JT does pretty well with it.

More of a haul than a tow, but stuffed a 12 foot heavyweight fishing yak into a 5 foot bed, with some help from the bed extender.

My intention is to tow this once a year from storage to our campsite in May and then back in October. It weighs 6400lbs. I may remove the two batteries and propane tanks to reduce the tongue weight. I have an Equalizer WD hitch. Fingers crossed :)

How's it do with the airstream? Isn't the tongue weight kinda high?
It does well, I have a weight distributing hitch and it's only around 5000lbs loaded up. I get around 13mpg towing.

I pull our travel trailer all over the place.
Been to Myrtle Beach, Western Pennsylvania,Jersey shore, mountains etc.
It weighs about 5000 pounds. I have a weight transfer hitch set up. Pulls nice and easy.

My trailer is about 5000 and I have a weight distributing hitch as well but with a head wind and hills I get around 5mpg
