We tow a camper that weighs around 5500 lbs with our gear in it. After two local trips, happy to report the JT does pretty well with it.

My intention is to tow this once a year from storage to our campsite in May and then back in October. It weighs 6400lbs. I may remove the two batteries and propane tanks to reduce the tongue weight. I have an Equalizer WD hitch. Fingers crossed :)

How's it do with the airstream? Isn't the tongue weight kinda high?
It does well, I have a weight distributing hitch and it's only around 5000lbs loaded up. I get around 13mpg towing.

I pull our travel trailer all over the place.
Been to Myrtle Beach, Western Pennsylvania,Jersey shore, mountains etc.
It weighs about 5000 pounds. I have a weight transfer hitch set up. Pulls nice and easy.

My trailer is about 5000 and I have a weight distributing hitch as well but with a head wind and hills I get around 5mpg

I only tow it to the ramp that is about 1/4 mile from my house to put it in the marina for the summer.

I'm going to take it Thursday to fill it up with gas since fuel at the marina is like 4 bucks a gallon and at the gas station 1 mile a way on land it's about $1.60. 80 gallon tank it's worth me pulling it to clean and fuel it up.

Will let you know when I do, but chances are doors will be off.

Thats not to bad then. I was moving my 16ft trailer around the yard today, full of yard waste. Got to say it is a challenge backing it without mirrors. Luckily I had my son hanging out of the side pretending to give me directions, lol.

I get that with the doors off. I am so used to putting the cover on mine at night, I feel like I forgot this thing even came with doors....

Finally took the boat out of our lake and to the local river. It was about 60 miles round trip, with some interstate, some back roads, and some small town. Averaged about 13 mpg with the A/C running. Truck handled and rode well. It doesn't have the power that my old ecoboost had, but still fine.
