I guess we just got lucky. It comes with 8 yr extended warranty, coating/paint protection(?), and other upgrades. So as soon as I saw it, we grabbed the opportunity to buy it even before selling my 2020 EVO tt, of which I still need to find time to sell. Lol. Been busy camping!
It was the best decision for us. Although it's just the 2 of us camping most of the times, the extra space is great! Especially when friends visit us. This tt is on the heavier side, but we just pack lighter now...less junk. Hahaha! And good thing all of my future campsite reservations are full hook ups. I don't have to haul any water!
Yes, that newer model is about 1200# heavier dry wt.it has better bunk beds tho.
Hey, we actually saw the exact year and model as ours at a Ventura, CA dealer. Of course, the wifey wants to compare. We called the dealer. Their asking price is $29k, so we really made a very sweet deal on ours!! That was last weekend. Let me know if you want to check it out and I'll find the phone #

awesome! My wife and I are still looking for whats next. We take our two dogs and my two kids so my cargo weight gets ate up pretty quick. Ive gotta be smart about tongue weight and cargo and such. Hopefully I can get into something larger soon!

I am forced not to bring much due to the weight of my camper, and am kind of glad. Me and the kids are laughing way to often at how much crap people bring. We look at their sites from our 4 chairs that are the only thing we setup and go that must suck to clean up.

my family has always traveled light. We’re in the same spot that we end up sitting and watching as it takes people forever to set all their gear up.

Now granted I had been day drinking for a solid two hours… But just this past weekend I almost fell out of my chair laughing as a woman spent almost an entire hour unpacking at least 15 to 20 different law gnomes and setting them up amongst a whole bunch of pinwheels she pushed into the ground

I tried to take a picture but my wife yelled at me and told me to stop picking on people… To which I replied it’s her fault for being weird I’m just trying to document it

Brought home my old girl tonight, 1987 Whaler Revenge 20 about 5,000 Lbs. Including half tank of fuel (40 gal.) have had her 17 years but been a trailer queen since 2014, friend is after me to sell her, beings I am in a downsizing mood traded Suburban for Mojave, sold old kayak tourny camper to friend last week. I have had four boats, Whalers sre amazing. Whaler people are like Jeep people! Mojave really surprised me towing with a hitch ball little low, came over the Emmaus hill by my house doing sixty in fourth gear , spent most of its time in 5th -7th gear. Fun coming up my driveway hill then backing it down turning, took three tries.
Still not sure I can sell her, I made beautiful solid seating through out with custom cushions, “Bulldog” is my name on most forums and clubs, it’s a Mack truck family thing, here Bulldog was taken.
Have decided Mojave is getting a black or orange bulldog on the hood!….Jack

She was built in Mass.., first owner Wisconsion fresh water, second owner Michigan great lakes, me the salt on East coast. She is no race boat 40 tops, twins pop out the water real quick for the Indian River Bay,De. No real torque steer with the hydraulic steering. Once you get twin engines you can't go back, we had an engine problem while circling Manhattan, with eight people on board, she did 15 mph. on one ,not on plane though, and still got to the Whaler party on time......Jack

Took delivery of my Sport S Max Tow and Saturday and towed my 1949 CJ3a with a Newgren lift and plow to an antique tractor show this morning. I've towed this rig for a decade with an F150 5.4L engine so I'm starting out slower but cruising along at 60 just fine. I just love this truck and since I only tow to a few local shows it will be a great tow vehicle. I may even go to more shows.

Spare tire, tire holder, tool box, straps, bottle jack, misc - 100
That makes the trailer with accessories - 1600
Car - estimated based on historical numbers - 3200
Trailer with car loaded and strapped in place - 4800
Tongue weight measured with one of those hydraulic tongue scales - 625 - a tad heavy IMO.
I may move the car back an inch or two.
At 4800 pounds, 625 is roughly 13% tongue weight.
There is no level ground anywhere close to me. Even the closes gas station lots are sloped, slanted, crooked so I could not find a flat spot to take good measurements. My driveway has a lot of low spots for drainage and is sloped to the west because our whole property is a hill.

Open to suggestions, ideas, etc.

I pulled into a church parking lot to get these shots -

And pulled into a gravel pit entrance to check it out to see how it sat and check tires and straps -

Ya got a bit of squat there. Maybe the air ride bags? They seem to have made a huge difference for me with towing.

took maybe 30mins to install and are easy as heck to refill with a bike pump i leave in the truck.
