I prefer tent camping myself, but my wife wants more comfort, so this is a happy compromise for us. The lack of drag is also a nice bonus. My parents and brother both have large campers, and pulling them kills their MPG's.

New Passport SL 221bh. Cutting it very close on payload with the heavy hitch weight (700 lb per CAT Scale), but the floorplan was so perfect for our family we had to have it. So far very impressed with how well the JT handles it.

I also pull this old girl around the fingerlakes all summer. Like nothing is even back there, but then again I also move it around my garage by hand.

When I factor in all the fun I’ve had with this truck over the past year and that it handles my towing needs it is hands down the best vehicle I’ve ever owned.

Gladiator & 16' Airstream. Towing "on the ball" has been a great experience so far. No Sway or Load Equalizing Hitch. Air Bags in rear coil springs. Glad. & Airstream are happy with each other. I have to be careful with the load in the Gladiator (to stay legal), which is people, fuel, stuff in the bed, and hitch weight. That is the weak point in the Gladiator Overland.

Sport Tire & Wheel Package: 15” Mud Rover Radial Tires and a Lift Kit that came standard with it.

My utility trailer has 15" tires and there is a larger variety in choosing tires than in 13". Not to mention a smoother ride for the trailer.
