Yep. If it was up to them anything below an F250 size wouldn't even exist. Everybody needs to clearly ignore all the intense testing manufacures go through. I mean its not like there is a standard they follow... Random guy on reddit clearly knows more.
Awesome boat! What model? What does it weigh in at? How's it tow? This is like the perfect combo for me. Part of my 3-5 year goals.

Thank you! It’s a 2021 Axis T22. The boat dry weighs 4,200. So I’m guessing by the time it’s loaded and fueled up with the trailer it’s got to be pushing 6,000. You definitely know it’s behind you. I have the 2.5 AEV lift and 35 falkens with the stock 4:10 gearing. The triple rate AEV springs make a world of difference towing compared to stock. Lucky for me the launch is only 5 miles from the house, and a few times I’ve hauled it an hr away to my parents lake. If I had to tow longer distances or large elevation changes I’d probably re-gear or check into lighter tires.

Empty water tanks, 4946 UVW. Good setup on E4 Equalizer Hitch, Curt Echo Wireless brake controller, Furrion S7 Wireless cameras..
Actually pretty impressed. Obviously 4.10's on 37s makes it tough, but for local trips - no immediate need to re-gear. May go bigger on tires when these wear out, so 5.13s will probably happen in a couple years. Otherwise, if going into more difficult terrain, will consider gears then. May add bags - not for squat - but for bounce control over rough TN roads.
(Also, peep the duck I got at the campsite!)

Jesus Christ that’s God’s country ???I just ran up to Montana and picked up a crashed Tacoma for friend. I rented a 22’ flat bed trailer with a winch that was plenty heavy by itself, defiantly more than I needed for the Taco. I have no idea what the combo weighed, but it towed well.
