Family needs the steps but I do love the rails that came in my Rubi. I saw some posts in the past where someone found steps that hooked up without removing the rails. Any love/help from Rubi owners? Please and thank you

Took mine off to install fabfour steps. Rock rails can't do their job with steps in the way. Fabfour steps are sturdy enough for large rocks.

Those do look good and they will protect your rock rails. ?

The Fabfour are not a perfect fit and do not contour the Jeep. But the step is a bit lower for the Mrs. NFab btw. Must have been thinking of an old rock band.

The M.O.R.E. Hide-a-Step is less expensive at $175 each
but do you really need four?

Here is my experience installing them

But now that I have lived with them for 9 months
not sure I would do it again.

A M.O.R.E. Dead Pedal helps more with getting in and out.

I second Ace Engineering - pulls double duty as a set of sliders and a step. I purchased them for this exact reason, they mount to the body bolts and come from underneath and tilt up slightly, so you don't have to remove the Rubi rails and see the pinch seem across the bottom of the vehicle.

For any sort of wheeling, white knuckle can’t be beat. They are pricey but are true sliders and have plenty of step and integrate with the factory rock rail.
