I made changes over time. I have the factory Alpine system. Each change made a noticeable difference. Armorlite flooring made a noticeable difference as well (less road/suspension noise, tighter bass response). Very happy with what I have.

One of my next projects will be to build a larger encloure and replace the factory plastic bin.
Looks great, did you amp the cabin speakers? Even the wifes JLUR with alpine has no volume or at least not suitable for me. I can drive down the road with mud terrain tires and listen between volume 5-8 . And I know I will have to upgrade hers.

I haven't had the need to change or add an amp (other than the sub woofer). The factory amp is plenty for me. I don't even know the the max volume sounds like. I've never had any cabinet resonance or vibrations. I think the poly fill helps (I put them in everywhere).

Where did you get the sub box for under the driver side rear seat

i replaced the 4" dash speakers with crutchfield covid somthings and updated the sound bar to 6x9 mb quarts. ive yet to install my 4 channel amp. I have yet to replace my knee speakers as well.

i run two shallow mount 10" skars dual 4ohm in a skar box made for the gladiator, ported but idk what its tuned to. i did lose the underseat storage for the box. ive been debating going four 8"s or one 12". i run an lc2i and the skar rp amp.

I do not hear wind noise with the doors off going 60mph, nor can i hear emergency vehicles at full tilt (full volume) so thats a safety concern in itself.

Im on my third skar amp, but this third one has lasted three years. the first two died the first 12 months of the system. i think the start/stop played a role in one of them, but skar has the reputation for junk. its a budget system 100% and im not endorsing them, just sharing my experience. skar replaced the amps under warranty and took 3-4 days to return and receive the replacment.

I have the full MB quart 6 speaker 2 sub 3 amp setup.
It’s not awful, pretty good actually for a ready made system, but you could probably piece together a higher quality system for less.
I’ll most likely end up changing it out and adding a DSP to mine.

I added a Kicker HS10 self powered sub behind the rear seat. Many others have as well. It definitely makes an improvement, and it doesn’t take up any space. The stereo went from a complete embarrassment to a pleasant listen.

What harness did you have to get for the hook up, I really appreciate it.

Did either of you run the sub with the alpine system in place? Im looking to add an additional 10 to mine that I already have the sub and box and amp for....I had it in my base system 2020 gladiator.

Yes, I left the Alpine sub alone. I keep the level flat in the equalizer because it sounds distorted at high volumes. That's where the add on sub and amp performs much better. I used a PAC Audio sub adapter.

You don’t have to get a harness. It is designed to tap into the speaker wires. It also comes with a fused power wire for the battery. No remote lead is necessary. It will turn on when it senses a signal.

Yep, that's it. There are cheaper ways. You can just get a LOC and tep into the speaker wires.
ive read that you cant really do that with the alpine setup.

You should be able to tap into the analog signals in the passenger side B pillar, just not the digital signals between the head unit and amplifier.
