Well here it goes again.... Recently found out my stock Gladiator I bought less than a year ago 'slightly' used low mile didn't have stock suspension. Looks to have a 2"-2 1/4" spacer above the front coil, a shock extension and I'm going to assume it must have a longer stable bar link (that is strictly an assumption but pretty safe assumption I think). Anyway, no idea brand and what else if any is on the Rear. ForstJeep assumed it looks about the same height & suspension wise as most of the other stock looking Jeeps around here. So I'm considering removing the spacer amd putting the Mopar springs instead mostly because there is a warranty on it for another year and a half or so and I just figure a spring would be better than a spacer.
So question # 1 correct me if I'm wrong there and just wasting money.
Second I would be considering buying the longer Mopar LCA's to get the caster back in spec or closer too for a low cost. Which comes to question # 2 would all I need is the lower control arms and the coils and be good to go OR do I need that lower coil adjuster liner up thing too or is the stock kne the same (assuming the one ai have is the stock one)?
And finally Question #3 looking at the Mopar 2" lift kit can anyone confirm the part #'s I'm seeing are :
Front LH coil 68436806AA
Front RH coil 68436807AA
Lower control arms (2) 68322798AA
Also seeing that lower (I'll call it a coil alignment piece) as part # 68427380AA (LH) & 68342250AC (RH) is that any different than the one on the Gladiator from stock.
Almost forgot will likely need the lower bumpstops to? Part # 68501831AA?
Looking to save on cost but go about it in a logical way not wasting money, I mean if it doesn'tmake semse to go to coils and stick with the spacer maybe ai should leave it too and just get the LCA's(?). For whatever it's worth I have a 2021 80th Anniversary and will leave the shocks and extensions until I decide I want to spend the cash on some upgraded shocks. Plan to stay at the 2" likely and put 35's on eventually once my 285 70 17s are done.
