Sport S bumper alterations

Has anyone tried to remove this extra plastic?? Will it effect the sturdiness of
The bumper?

Yes a lot of people are removing it. its only there for better air flow over the wheel. Some are trimming the plastic off and re installing the backing to the bumper to protect the fog light wiring. there are some videos out there showing how to remove it.

Did it to mine right away . Looks so much better , The right side had a wire holder attached but was easily removed .I have a small band saw i used to trim the pieces.

Just be careful with the little bolts that secure to plastic to the bumber. If you use a drill to remove, or re install, theyll spin in the plastic bumper and wont work anymore. I ended up having to use hollow wall bolts to get it back on after I stipped them with my drill.

Those bumper inserts were gone the first day.

Lol yeah they are pretty tacky...Did u dremel out to keep the back side covered?

I did yes. Dremel cut around until i was satisfied.
