Did you run the trailseven Kicker upgrade in the same rig? I personally just don't like the 4" and 3.5" combo in the sound bar. You have basically the same sized speakers trying to play all frequencies which isn't optimal at all. I'm leaning towards the trailseven as a 6.5 and separate tweeter SHOULD do a much better job of producing mid/ mid bass than any 4"/3.5" combo. The only issue is they could be under powered with the factory amp.
Yes, I installed them both in my 2023 Mojave and compared.. The frequencies sent to the 3.5” and 4” are not the same. Alpine has crossover filters that send the higher frequencies to the 3.5” driver and the lower go to the 4” driver. Trouble is the stock 3.5” driver has terrible high frequency response..
Anyway, after comparing the TrailSeven Kicker modular system to just the ref307f’s installed, sounds just as good and actually about 1-2dB louder (tested with my Home theater SPL meter) with the Infinity’s installed.. I’m guessing because the Kickers are 4 ohm speakers and the Infinity’s are 3 ohm (I actually measured 2.5 ohms and it measured lower than the stock Alpine 3.5’s which I measured at 3 ohms)…
My suggestion is to try the Infinity’s which are easy to install. You can always return them if not satisfied..
But $160 + tax is a lot cheaper than than the TrailSeven solution for $422. The only thing you don’t get is the larger 6.5” driver for the soundbar. But to be honest with the Alpine sub handling most of the lower frequencies, to me it’s a non-issue. Plus having the matching stock 4” drivers in both back and front make more sense to me, balanced sound wise.. I could not tell much of a difference at all in the midrange comparison of the TrailSeven versus having the Infinity’s installed (and I am a pretty critical 2 channel music listener in my home system). Plus, again it plays slightly louder with the Infinity’s installed…?

I got the sound bar speaker upgrade done! It was SO worth doing! Much, MUCH better than stock.

Write up for those interested.
Nicely done! Like you said in your thread, the 2024 is a little different layout. I’d be interested to know what frequency the crossover filters are set at for the 4” mid driver in Alpine system. Meaning what frequency do they low pass at and at what frequency are the high frequencies cut off at. Same goes for the 3.5” driver slot (but opposite) I am almost positive that they wouldn’t send the full signal to both drivers. But bottom line is it sounds great! ? Did you notice if it plays any louder than the stock system? Or does it just sound more clear? I measured about 1-2dB increase in output with my spl meter..
Did you add polyfill in the enclosures behind the speakers??

I did use polyfill. To my ear it sounds to have a bit more gain, but I did not do any SPL measurements. I was hoping it would all just play together well. It did for the most part. The little dome tweeters seems underpowered so I am guessing the supplied crossover is and issue. I'm going g to do some measurements and attempt to improve quality even more.

Are you talking about the little capacitor that is already soldered in on the 4” Infinity speaker or the big capacitor that they supply in the box that is meant to block the lower frequencies?

The Infinity Reference REF757T comes with a crossover/ band pss filter. I originally ran it to see how it would sound. I was not pleased so I removed and it's amazing now.

So your running the tweeter with no crossover?

I may have missed this above, but with the Alpine system, what do you need to do if you want to just run a 6.5" coaxial speaker instead of the separate mid/tweeter in the soundbar? Thinking to get the Select Increments pods and just switch to a nice coaxial. Is the factory crossover removable?

Not exactly. The upgraded Alpine system has a built-in factory crossover. The crossover point seems perfect for the Infinity tweeter.
Is this in the dash or soundbar?

The problem with a coaxial and the Alpine system is that you will only be running off 2 of the 4 channels that go to the sound bar even if you could get rid of the factory crossover. 44 watts will never sound as good as 88 watts period. That is the reason for the component system over a coaxial with the Alpine set up even more than the crossover.

Updated: After hearing a set of the Terra Acoustics, I was strongly leaning in that direction. But, after reading multiple underwhelming reviews of them and several other more expensive options, along with a few glowing reviews here for the REF307F, I decided to give the Infinity's a try in the corners of the dash. As mentioned by several members, Crutchfield had them on sale (I also had some discount points from a previous purchase.)

A ten-minute install with the provided harnesses and the sound is noticeably improved. I am going to install baffling behind all the speakers before changing anything else at this point. Very pleased with the REF307F overall.

These are good speakers and I like them, especially for $130.

I decided to upgrade again, I just ordered the Terra Acoustics dash speakers. I am going to give them a try.
How did your terra acoustic speakers turn out?
