Does anyone have this head unit installed yet? I'm liking the features, and am leaning more towards this one verses going with the 8.4 upgrade.

Hey David,So obviously it will work with the factory front and rear camera, but how many more cameras can we add past that will it support?
Also, will the additional cameras display in HD like the factory cameras. (Of course if I bought additional HD cameras)
You will need the SXV300V1 tunerDoes this retain the factory Sirius function?
It came delivered in a plain brown box with two smaller boxes inside, the Heigh10 itself in one box and the installation kit in the other. First impressions with the installation kit: holy $h*t it takes a ton of adapters and cables to make this thing work in the Gladiator! I was a mobile A/V installer for 10+ years back in the 90s/2000s, boy how times have changed! First impressions of the Heigh10 itself: Very well packaged and presentation when you open it up. Lots of padding and filler to protect each part of the unit itself. The screen itself is flawless and it looks like something that you would expect OEM quality to be. Good weight to it as well it doesn't feel cheap by any means, as it should because it is not cheap!
I considered insane as well, along with the Alpine unit. As far as insane goes, last I checked, they couldn’t control all of the vehicle settings. They told me they’re going to include them in future updates, but they didn’t provide any indication of how long that would take. That was a big one for me, particularly since I regularly use my auxiliary switches and needed the ability to control how they behave. Also, the insane unit does not support a SiriusXM tuner, also important to me. To get around that, you need to use the SiriusXM streaming app (which also requires you have one of the upgraded Sirius subscriptions to allow streaming) while you tether the head unit to your phone’s wireless hotspot or stream via your phone through Apple CarPlay. I didn’t really care for how reliant their head unit would be on my phone’s data plan (I don’t have unlimited data). I can definitely see the appeal though, looks a like it could be a great head unit if you’re okay with some concessions.Dang, that looks nice. I’d love it if someone would do an unbiased review and comparison with the Insane Audio JL3001 head unit.
It can get frustrating trying fit it all in there.
I have only done the bench prep so far and I followed the video on YouTube directions. I’m planning on doing the actual install later this week or weekend so I’ll see how mine goesI’m at the point where I’m trying to stuff everything in the dash and I just can’t seem to get it. It seems like I’ve been spending more than an hour trying to stuff wires in. I have my satellite radio tuner in the dash. Not sure how the camera module is supposed to sit.
I was able to make it work by putting the HD Camera module on the left (driver side) towards the firewall on top of the air vent duct. Then the SiriusXM tuner on the passenger side against the firewall on top the vent duct. Do your best to route your cables to each of those so that you’re not tangled much with the rest of the wire harness . Also Try to Make sure the main vehicle harness plug is shoved all the way up against the firewall in the small V shaped opening between the duct work. thats about the best advise I’ve got.....its very cramped!I’m at the point where I’m trying to stuff everything in the dash and I just can’t seem to get it.
