Hey All,

Here is what I'm experiencing and what digging through the forum has lead me to.

My stock 23 Mojave with the stock Falken AT wanders sooooo much. I drive 50 miles on the freeway for work.
The steering doesn't feel lose but the truck just wants to track all over the place. I've lowered air pressure.
Tried 35 and 32 psi. I Didn't really feel that changed a ton of the characteristics.
I do have an up coming oil change rotate and suspension check at the dealer. Will see if the rotation nets any changes.
I used to have a XJ back in the day. I understand these trucks will not ever ride like a car. But it seems a lot of people struggle with wander.

Here is what I'd like to bounce off of people. I may be wrong in my assumptions on the current factory height across the models.

It seems like Rubicons are roughly .75 to 1 inch(based on weight) taller then a sport package.

The Mojave is stated as roughly 1 inch taller then Rubicons. With that I'm thinking that a Mojave is roughly 1.75 -2" of lift over a stock sport.

Unless you run the Mopar lift, everyone is running the same control arms.

I think caster is my problem. If the Mopar 2" lift needs arms, I don't see why stock Rubicon and Mojave don't. So I'm leaning towards just running the Mopar lower control arms and see how it feels.

BUT

If a Mojave is pushing close to 2" over a stock sport, couldn't I potentially run AEV or Rancho Geo Brackets on the low setting? Then I benefit from the angle change along with caster. I do not care about the bracket clearance loss.

Its hard to tell if the geo brackets are basing the lift specs from a stock base model vs the already present lift amount from a Rubicon or Mojave.

Let me know your thoughts.

Are you against adjustable arms?

Seems like the best solution for your situation.

That would be a possibility as well. I don't like jam nut components. But Teraflex/Synergy do have arms with pinch bolts. I'm just wondering if I can gain the benefits from the angle change by running a geo bracket without adding too much camber.

Buy the Mopar control arms that are longer from AllMoparparts.com and see if that helps and you wont be out a bunch of money if it doesn't.

I think geo brackets are too low for stock height. Your control arms would likely be running up hill which had the similar negative impacts to ride as control arms running angled down too steep. I say the Mopar arms will be sufficient.

It's new and under warranty when they do the oil change and suspension check have everything drag link , pittman arm and all and report it is wandering, perhaps they will find something lose. My 2021 has play in the steering box which I am hopeful to tighten up a little bit when I work on a bunch of stuff first week in march. I am stock and plan on staying stock other then Max Tow sptings on the rear with a 1 3/8" spacer to make them the same lenght as the mojave springs. I also don't know if a Sport, Rubicon, Mojave and say MaxTow JTs all have the same control arms. I think about doing what you are considering but want simple and reliable and the Mopar control arms from lift sound like a good option to me.. Going to be watching this thread...Jack

Definitely get a copy of your current alignment before making any changes. My 22 Rubicon wandered a lot at first also but a set of the Mopar lift arms bumped the caster up to 6.4 and that helped a lot. The good thing about using the lift arms is that I seriously doubt any service department would ever notice them so they would have nothing to blame if you ever need your suspension covered under warrantee.

I’ve got a 2021 Mojave with the AEV 2” lift and their geo correction brackets, along with Metal Cloak’s sector shaft brace. My truck tracked straight and drove pretty nice with this setup, especially considering I am also running 37x13.5R17 Ridge Grapplers.

I recently installed a set of Synergy 3” springs (to level the front) and decided to add the longer Mopar LCA’s in the process. The geo brackets had kept my factory LCA’s perfectly parallel to the ground, but the new springs lifted them out of alignment a bit. I had read of several members on here who added Mopar lift LCA’s on stock Gladiators and got positive results with straighter tracking, so I took a chance that they would pair well with my truck as well.

The net result has been fantastic. I really wasn’t expecting too much as the Mopar
LCA’s are only 1/4” longer, but the difference with my steering is extremely noticeable. The truck naturally wants to track straighter and the steering wheel is much more responsive re-centering after making a turn. Beforehand it was definitely slower to return to center.

Being that the Mopar LCA’s are less than $100, I wouldn’t hesitate to add them to a factory Mojave along with some sort of Sector shaft brace. I think you’ll be happy with the results.

I think this is more then likely the direction I'm going to go. I just thought maybe the brackets could be utilized at the height the Mojave sits at.

Check alignment as well? I’m assuming that you’re not running any kind of cap on the bed?

Appointment is set and is upcoming in a couple weeks. It would be great(well kinda) if they find something wrong and can get it dialed back in. I do love the truck.
