I have a 2022 sport with stock wheels, put a steel bumper and waited a few months to let it settle, and as expected, there is a 2.1 inch difference in height on front vs back. I have ordered 2.5 inch teraflex coils to correct this but now I'm wondering if it's important to get some adjustable front arm controls? From what I have read, getting adjustable lower control arms is the priority. In my mind, I'm just putting it back to where it was before the steel bumper, but then I thought, it had a slight rake before and I never measured before putting the steel bumper on. Do I need to get some adjustable control arms?

Adjustable control arms won't adjust lift, just the position and roll of your axle

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I understand it does not affect the lift height and agree with what you said. My question though is do I need the control arm to fix the position of the axle since I have lost 2 inches from the steel bumper and I am raising it 2.5 inches. Is it enough to affect drivability or cause wobble?

You don't HAVE to get adjustable LCA's, but it would bring things back into spec.

BUT, you can accomplish the same thing in other ways. You can get the LCA's for the MOPAR 2" lift which will put you in range OR you can get geometry correction brackets.

You have about 2" difference front to rear and you ordered 2.5" coils? Are you also going to raise the rear up a little, or did you want the rear to sit lower?

A stock Gladiator has 1.5-2" of rake. I don't think you are experiencing 2" of sag from your bumper. Did you measure before and after the bumper, or just after?

You could install the Teraflex coils and see where your caster is at. If too low, order arms or brackets.

In order to get the caster back to spec you will need adjustable lower control arms. The Mopar lift lower control arms my work for you. The Mopar springs give about a 2 inch lift in the front. Not sure what the Tereflex 2.5 coils will net. I like 98TJ's recommendation.

I am in the very same boat . Got a steel bumper winch etc.. bought the teraflex base lift kit . What is original caster supposed to be ?
I already have my eye on a set of Falcon shocks . I have seen guys in you-tube with a gauge . Where do I get one . Or should I say what is it called so I can find one. ?

Are you referring to the magnetic digital angle finder used to calibrate woodworking equipment? I’ve seen a few videos where that was used.
