Hey all.. Just got back from a long trip with the glad to some awesome deep sand trails and beach driven (will post to another thread with pics). I recently put on some new A/t's and man do I love them. the toyo's where much improvement over the M/t's and clocked in at 22MPG's on average. The bounce though in the rear and some what in the front but, not as bad as the rear. On the highway and even on roads. On the high way if there are bumps or a divide in the highway going around the corner and straight always the bounce from side to side really is not fun at times. also happens at slow speeds 25/30 mph say on rough roads. I thought it was just something to get use to but, after a bunch of research it appears that is not something that is typical or totally normal.. My 2022 Glad is a willy config no lift and has tow package (not max tow) A/t's with about 36PSI. I dont rock climb but, deep sand, general dirt packed trails or muddy areas to get the toys where they need to be and camping.
The research I have done on this great forum along with just general shock/sprint research looks to be possibly a soft sprint with a shock that is not stiff enough to handle a soft spring.
My thought is to upgrade the shock to either the fox 2.0 or elite series 2.5 or falcon sp2 3.3 to stiffen the rebound. as a side thought I was also thinking that maybe should have been handled with the factory build an (big big biggggggg stretch here go easy ) could be a dealer issue...
Curious what others think about this scenario and shock choice?
