Hey I get it. Some folks buy Rubi’s and Mojave for the badge and "adventure" look, and then use them as 95% DDs and occasional camping rigs to traverse country dirt roads. Cool!!!

A few years later some of them will test drive a cushy truck way more suitable for THAT use and think, hey! I found a better truck than mine! Yes it is, hell it was before you bought the Jeep. You bought the wrong truck for your purpose based on image and now you know better. Good for you 👍👍👍

Also, read the original post, they don’t do boulders, or rubicon trails. That’s literally the only area a gladiator out shines a raptor unless your caveats are doors and top.
That RR looks pretty milquetoast. The Gladiator has such an iconic look, and to me there's nothing that even remotely compares. That giant FORD on the grill is just 🤮

I am really thinking about parting with my dialed in and modded JT. The Ranger Raptor has me in a spell. I don't do boulders or Rubicon type trails. I don't tow. Looks like the Raptor has everything the Gladiator needs. Muchmore HP, much smoother ride, quieter. If there is an issue with the Raptor I have not heard of it. Please give me reason not to go there.
The youtuber Casey250 who had a 840HP demon swapped gladiator fully built ended up trading it in on the Ranger Raptor after driving it.

Watching / listening while I work.

I don't watch Casey250 really, so I don't know much about how he uses his vehicles.

I do like how he said they may just buy a Wrangler to build for their rock crawling to fill the hole the Gladiator is leaving 😄

Getting through the rest to see the rest of his thoughts...

I watched him follow Shaun (TSTN) with that pig. It was a joke off-road. Dirt road, sure, but on obstacles...laughable! The first obstacle, a steep incline the Raper shed a mud flap(speled korrektly cause that's what it does to yer pocketbook!). Probably why we don't have those gaudy things.
Honestly, anyone investing that much to demon swap a Gladdy, then trading it for a Raper 1. Is a moron. 2. Has no clue. 3. Is sticking to his high school persona. 4. Is insecure, hell, just pick a number.
Just a grown up kid wanting others to look at him and say "Oh-wow!" When he got rid of that Gladiator, I stopped listening to anything he said. But if you watched his videos and TSTN stuff, you could see he was just a stuffed shirt, never settled and bouncing from one thing to another. Couple of Jeeps, to supercharged, to Hemi, to 40's, to a Raper...

Exactly, I take what YT channels have to say with a grain of salt. They make more money doing what their viewer want than if they did what THEY wanted. And that's the point, they're "influencers" yet their income is influenced by whether their views get to see what they want to see.

And don't forget, Bronco guys that ACTUALLY do hardcore offroad usually end up trading for a wrangler. Most people buy the Bronco for it's looks and features, not abilities.

OP, have you test driven any of those vehicles yet?

I'll say, when it comes to more difficult off roading, it amuses me immensely to see folk in IFS vehicles go into full panic mode when their stuff starts abruptly teetering and balancing over relatively mild obstacles because it has no flex, and then a JT or JL traverses the same thing without so much as a raised eyebrow because it can keep the tires on the ground and stay more stable.

I often consider keeping my Gladiator until pay off and then trading in the car on another midsize truck so I can have my cake and eat it too.

Take the Gladiator for more technical adventure.

Get a Canyon AT4/Denali for daily driving and dirt road trips.

I'm sure the billboard on the side of his Raptor has nothing to do with the size of his penis... 🤣 Or the money he's earning from the car maker for posting this bullshit video.
