update

got under again double checked everything and even loosened up some of the suspension components and re torqued, still got the clunk.

got under again and twisted the rear drive shaft and I want to say im 80% sure this is were my clunk is coming from check out the videos

I get a random clunk when on stopping and starting too. My Driveline has some play, maybe a bit less than yours, but some play for sure. Let us know what you figure out... Mine is in the shop now, I asked them to check the breaks because I thought that might be the source... I doubt they will actually look at it.

I had a clunk when slowing and accelerating almost immediately after taking delivery last summer. After 6K miles I asked the dealer to look at it during my oil change and they reported the shocks were leaking and they ordered new ones. Went in a few weeks later and the noise was gone. I was shocked... get it.. sorry...

I almost love my dealer but I also realized recently when I asked for a 5 tire rotation they just blew smoke where the sun doesn't shine and said yea sure no problem, not knowing that the spare was a steel wheel and they99% didn't do shiz. No way they remounted the rubber and moved and or reprogrammed the TPS. I will be calling them out on that next time...

Besides being a steelie, the spare does not have a TPMS sensor. The system is self-learning though. No need to program.

I have similar movement and noise from my drag link and tie rod and no clunk when on the road. However, when I first installed the Mopar lift I had a clunk coming from the rear swaybar end link. I didn’t have the upper end link bolts to the proper torque spec. After retorquing to factory spec the clunk went away.
Hey bud, do you recall what the torque specs were ? I also hear a deep sounding clunk from the rear when going over bumps... seems to be coming from the passenger side. I thought it was from the mole panel setup in the bed. I will definitely check my rear rear sway bar links.
Thanks

Update, I went to the dealer for a diagnostic, but as soon as they saw that it was lifted. They told me it will be very hard to get this
approved from Chrysler for a warranty repair

they also wanted $200 to diagnose

I know it’s not the Lift because if it had anything to do with the lift, I would hear the clunk while going over bumps while driving. The clunk only happens when I accelerate from a dead stop, or shift into reverse

anyone have any suggestions at this point I’m all ears

Go to a different dealership.

Unless the lift was installed at the dealer, warranty isn’t going to help, and you shouldn’t ask the dealer anyway. The lift components can absolutely cause that symptom. You won’t necessarily also get the noise when moving over bumps. Check for a loose control arm or loose track bar.

Which is usually a loose control arm, but not always.
Or a somewhat common issue with newer Jeeps... loose brake caliper bolts.

OP, check your brake caliper bolts.

edit: but re-reading your symptoms, sure sounds like the standard driveline noise. All shaft driven axles have a little slop in them, it's inherent in the system...

I doubt caliper bolts would make the sound they’re describing, but I agree that they should be checked occasionally. I just did a brake job and all of mine got orange thread locker upon reassembly.

Short answer... that which you are doing is normal. If it's more than that no. But that's a non issue.
