yep.. and get all the $$ out of politics so that we have folks who care folks who are committed to public service running for office, rather than corporate and billionaire asshats with no public service experience
I don't care if they had no public service experience. I don't care it they are billionaires. As long as they do right by we the people.

I do see a problem with someone who goes into politics that has a net worth of $5M has a job that pays $400K a year for say 8 years and walks out with a net worth of $800M. Even my dyslexic ass knows that math is not right.

I think it is mostly because the justice system is broken. No one in power is afraid of getting caught because there is no justice system that will catch, prosecute and punish. They have immunity to there criminal behavior.

and... I will gladly support a person in any profession that goes into it because they love what they do. Not gonna support a carpenter who doesnt give a shit about their job because it is only about getting paid. Same with a public servant as an elected official IMO

My apologies for all the graphs, you’d think I was a history teacher or something. However, using analytics to develop a methodology for problem solving is part of what I do. With that said, looking at the data we have to date shows some outliers, particularly in Washington. I’d really like to see this broken down by age, ethnicity, gender, and health factors. Also did they get sick while traveling internationally? What is the risk factor for non-symptomatic persons to transmit the disease? These are all important factors in determining out actions and more importantly our restrictions.

Here's a look at the states impacted by COVID-19.
-Washington: 568 cases, 37 deaths
-New York: 328 cases
-California: 247 cases, 6 deaths
-Massachusetts: 123 cases
-Colorado: 77 cases
-Idaho: 1 case
-Florida: 45 cases, 2 deaths
-Georgia: 42 cases, 1 death
-Illinois: 46 cases
-Oregon: 30 cases
-New Jersey: 47 cases, 1 death
-Alabama: 1 case
-Texas: 39 cases
-Pennsylvania: 22 cases
-Louisiana: 19 cases
-Tennessee: 18 cases
-Virginia: 18 cases
-Iowa: 16 cases
-North Carolina: 15 cases
-Indiana: 12 cases
-Maryland: 12 cases
-Michigan: 12 cases
-South Carolina: 12 cases
-Kentucky: 11 cases
-Nevada: 11 cases
-Nebraska: 10 cases
-D.C.: 10 cases
-Minnesota: 9 cases
-Arizona: 9 cases
-South Dakota: 8 cases, 1 death
-Wisconsin: 8 cases
-Arkansas: 8 cases
-Connecticut: 6 cases
-New Hampshire: 6 cases
-New Mexico: 6 cases
-Ohio: 5 cases
-Rhode Island: 5 cases
-Utah: 5 cases
-Delaware: 4 case
-Kansas: 6 cases, 1 death
-Hawaii: 2 cases
-Missouri: 2 cases
-Oklahoma: 2 cases
-Vermont: 2 cases
-Alaska: 1 case
-Maine: 1 case
-Mississippi: 1 case
-Montana: 4 cases
-North Dakota: 1 case
-Wyoming: 1 case
Not sure where this Data is from, but the local papers are claiming Virginia has 45 cases and 1 death, not 18 cases.

If test's were readily available these numbers would be very different.
That's what happened. Everyone was bragging because it wasn't in our state yet but they didn't realize Alabama didn't have any tests so with no tests they couldn't confirm anything. Now we have alot of tests and the numbers are climbing fast.

To Track Coronavirus, Israel Moves to Tap Secret Trove of Cellphone Data
The information, intended for use in counterterrorism, would help identify people who have crossed paths with known patients.

Welcome to skynet... Yeah, let’s give Israel control over American cell phone data... Anyone else see a problem with another country tracking all our phones and handling our data? As if our own alphabet agencies aren’t bad enough, let’s just give all our data to the country who unprovokingly attacked the USS Liberty, because they were gathering intelligence on Iran... Israel is NOT our friend. They may be our ally, but they’re not our friend.:mad::swear:

Tracking, or hacking? Hey millennials, you better be ready! They don't really give medals to everyone in life...

I definitely would prefer to not have a car payment right now.

Ran some numbers (though % seem to be varying a little source to source and day to day) for the rural, BFE town I live in.

Current estimated population: 72,000
Infection Rate of 70%: 50,400
Severe Cases (O2 required) rate of 15%: 7,560
Critical Cases (Ventilator required) rate of 5%: 2,520
Mortality Rate of 3%: 1,512
ICU beds in local hospital: 12
Ventilators in local hospital: 4

Hope no one has a heart attack, stroke, severe car wreck, appendicitis, etc. in the next few months.

Also hope that once real testing takes off these numbers drop considerably.

That is an astounding perspective.
