That's 4WP for ya. Regular price is around $440-$460 for all the major brand 37s at normal vendors:

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Mickey+Thompson&tireModel=Baja+Boss+A/T&partnum=725QR7BBAT

But these and most other similar tires have been out of stock most places I've looked for a few weeks. 4WP is probably doing "dynamic pricing" when they figure out they have some stock that no one else has. There's always a bigger whale

CORRECTION: the post above is about the competition-only Baja Boss X and my reply was about the normal DOT-approved ATs and MTs

They’re great tires. For what it’s worth, in this picture, yours look overinflated. They’re a bit domed and the edge of the tread isn’t touching the ground. Per Mickey Thomson on a gladiator specifically, they recommend the 37x12.5x17 be set at a cold pressure of 27psi. I’m guessing you’re closer to 35?
In this picture, that very well may be the case. That pic was, I think, the day I had them installed. I have them now at 30 psi cold, but ill reduce to 27 and see how that feels for a bit. Thanks!

Mine were higher for several thousand miles until MT told me how much too high. I’ve had them at 27 cold for quite a while and they ride great. They did recommend increasing psi in the rear when towing, which I do. I usually take the rears to 34-35 when towing. When I unhook, they go back to 27. I really like only airing back up to 27. Saves a lot of time after trails.

I just had some 37 Baja Boss MTs installed and they ride amazing. They’re comfortable and very quiet for an aggressive mud tire. Haven’t tested off-road yet but they look like they’re capable of anything.

I’ve had KO2’s and 37” Patagonia MTs as well. I’m impressed with the Baja Boss so far.

I just bought the Yokohama.... at 270 at walmart... discount tire has them for 456 a tire.... same size and stock number. They do run closer to 37 inches than many of the others if that is important to you. I planned on tires this summer...but at that price, I'll put them in the garage. I've never seen those tire under 350 dollars on any sale ever...

I second this. I just got a set of Baja Boss 37s, replacing my Patagonia Milestars. The milestars went bald and split a sidewall at 16k. The noise on them was unbearable after a while. The Baja Boss's are quiet, and still do great on sand and rocks.

I've had duratracs, Maxxis, and milestars, and so far these are my favorite.
Curious which version of the Patagonia's you had. MT, MT-02, AT, or XT?

As of right now, I've narrowed it down just a little. I have ran the Nitto Trail Grapplers and seemed to have had good luck with them, so they are on the lists. My local shop mentioned he like the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT. Another shop said they like the Falken Wildpeak MT but have been doing a lot of the Maxxis Raxr MT lately. So I guess I'm trying to decide between these. The Maxxis and Falken seem to be a little lower in price (about $20 to $30 per tire) based upon the quotes I received.
  • Nitto Trail Grappler
  • Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT
  • Falken Wildpeak MT
  • Maxxis Raxr MT
With that said, how would you rate these? 1st choice, 2nd choice, etc. And why?

I just installed my second set of Wildpeaks on my TJ ride good excellent tread wear. I have the Nitto's on my F250 and my wife's TJ. Do not think you would have a problem with either tire. I think I would have bought the Nitto's for my JT because I have owned 3 sets on three different vehicles and been happy with them. I bought the Wildpeaks from a member of the forum and could not pass on the price,
