I want to take the stock wheels and tires from my 2022 Overand and put them on my wifes 2019 Grand Cherokee High Altitude. The 20" wheels and tires ride like crap, and I know the 18"s will ride better. We had a 2015 GC Overland with 18"s and it was a much smoother ride. I hate to see good wheels and tires go to waste if I can use them. Any imput is appreciated.

What "imput" are you looking for?

The GC came with 20" wheels for a reason. If it rides like crap I would suggest it is probably the tires, not the wheels. 20" tires obviously have less sidewall than an 18" tire, but do you think that is causing your crap ride?

Just because your Overland rides nice with 18"'s doesn't translate to the same thing on a GC.

The added sidewall will plush the ride a bit…

Might need spacers to cover the wheel offset for the calipers. Mine rubbed on the calipers just a hair so universal 5mm spacers solved the problem. I went down to 17s on mine.

Kevin, I had 18's on the 2015 GC Overland so it's the shorter sidewall that makes it ride like crap. The reason they put 20" wheels on the GC High Altitude was for looks only. I heard 1/4" spacers were needed for the caliper issue. Just needed to reaffirm that thread. Thanks for everyone's imput. I have the spacers in my garage already. Good looking GC. Love that color and the wheels look great.

18's on a Grand Cherokee ride great. You will need to change the TPMS sensors because as of 6/21 they were changed on the Gladiators and are not backwards compatible.

I have also heard that you will need spacers for JT wheels to go on the WK2.
