Tool box?

Here are some more pictures of the Tractor Supply poly box. The box just fits under the Mopar soft roll up tonneau cover. There are no tie /fastening points built into the box, but you could mount some. I’ve used a cargo bar, ratchet strap and cable lock cable to secure mine. As you should also see, I store my front “plywood” support between the box and the bed front. Hope these help.

Do you have any suggestions for padlocking these things? I’m struggling to find one that fits well. I see you have a padlock on yours, does it work well?

i picked up a three(3) lock Master Lock set at Home Depot, keyed alike. they worked quite good, but work much better getting thru the hasp and around the cable that secures the box to the bed D rings, after I removed the upper plastic piece.

Lund 48" side box. Forgot to snap a pic after I built the stanchion, this was just during mockup with a jack to hold it in place... Used (2) t-slot nuts to secure it to the Trail Rail and then a center stanchion to anchor it to the bed floor. Super handy because I can access everything I need from the side rather than having to reach across or over anything.

How much room do you have from the inner tailgate panel to the front of that box?

So, i have been contemplating a typical truck tool box to haul/store my recovery/off-road goodies in. Looked at the one that rests on the bed rails and the ones that are a tool chest and sit in the bed between the sides. The fuel filler door kind of limits the over the rail model and the space between wheel wells is only 44 inches. Anyone have pics or suggestions as to what ideas they are tossing around or solutions? It will be a semi-permanent fixture and not something I will be loading or unloading for each trip.

Custom Milwaukee Packout plate. Will hold 2 full size Packouts, totally modular, removable, and expandable. I still need to sand and powder coat.

I decided I wanted a change. I really like the swing out bed box but dont want to drill into my bed. So here wad my solution.

Those are listed for the F-150. Does the swing out hardware and bracket included with that box fit the bed on the Gladiator. I realize you didn't want to use the swing out kit because you didn't want to drill. But let's say a guy did want to use the included swing kit, will it work for us?

honestly Im not sure. I didnt even take those parts out of the packaging before i threw them away. I knew from the outset I was going to fasion a bracket system to hand from the trail rails.

Added some mobile boxes, a rack and air lift 1,000 to stop the pogoing on the highway.

I had it made by a CNC shop in NY. I sent him measurements of the bed. The Packouts just touch when installed.
One modification I would make when if you have him build you one: have the base raised 1/4”. There is a small bump up in the back corner of the bed that I didn’t notice. I added 1/4” plastic PEX under the plate to get it tall enough.

Milwaukee Packouts secured with a cargo bar wrapped in pipe insulator for protection. Works great and fits like a glove with a drop in truck bed liner and trifold tonneau cover.

I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074Q256W3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Sits between the wheel wells and just (like a hair) below my solid tonneau cover. Must be installed door up for it to stay below the tonneau.
