Did you get new sensors with the wheels, or transfer the OEM sensors?I’m having the same issue. I’m running 18x12.5 -38offset Dirty life wheels. My TPMS don’t read.
I used the OEM. I transferred the sensor myself. They were working with the stock wheels. Once I put them on the new wheels they stopped working. I’m wondering if it’s because of the offset the wheels haveDid you get new sensors with the wheels, or transfer the OEM sensors?
mine are out on the edge, I’m also on 40s. I’m also using the Apex Valve stemsMy wheels are -38 and TPMS works fine. Are your valve stems in the middle of the wheel or out on the edge?
How are you using Apex valve stems and the stock TPMS? Two valve stems in each wheel? If so, what do the Apex valve stems have to do with this? Having 40s does not move the TPMS sensors any further from anything. Again, moot pointmine are out on the edge, I’m also on 40s. I’m also using the Apex Valve stems
That sounds way too coincidental, for all four tpms to just magically go out at the same time. This has incompetence written all over it. Then for them to tell the customer to pay in full for new, also terrible of them to do.thanks. I ended up going back and swapping to all new sensors. Somehow all of my old sensors where dead. Have zero explanation on how that can happen. But new sensors were working within a few miles.
If it works with stock wheels, what is the defect?I seriously think there needs to be a Repeater like a Network Mesh system. I still have the same problem, I have been in the service 4 times now. and still not resolved.
Worked. Other than incompetence/damage, the only other thing I can think of is interference. For example, a metal framed desk will cause all kinds of issues when a Bluetooth mouse is below the frame with a receiver above the frame. Another ( unsupported ) theory is that someone brushed a magnet too close to the tpms sensor, causing havoc for the tech that’s on the inside.If it works with stock wheels, what is the defect?
so my wheels have only one valve stem hole, I used the Apex Valve stems with my OEM TPMS. I took of the Torx screw that goes on the OEM Valve stem with the OEM TPMS. could be, I checked my sensors today with a scanner and they are all reading correctly.
