Fair enough. Is it actually full float, or is it partial full float like dynatrac? Now if only the Gladiator could get the full float axle. Or the 35" tire option like the JL and Bronco.

I'm not sure on that. I haven't seen one yet.Fair enough. Is it actually full float, or is it partial full float like dynatrac?
I'll keep digging but that may be what the JSCAN users were talking about in their group months ago. It's this last one on this page of the Jscan app. Adaptive values reset .the 2 above are the ling and short "quick relearns"

It seems like it would be hard to find enough space for that kind of meat. But I haven’t looked at them either.I'm not sure on that. I haven't seen one yet.
And it you plug those Vents it will float in water just like a giant Turd.Good stuff. Jeep added full float axles. Ford added vents.![]()
It was a weird situation.Where was the tranny leaking from? I have potentially a slow seep from the rear or mine. But it could have been the pan gasket. Time will tell as I’ve cleaned it up to see if it returns. New pan and gasket as well. Way out of warranty, but still curious as I’ll end up fixing it myself at some point. Thanks.
My 2020 JT was in for the steering gear TSB. Second try totally resolved all steering/stability/wander issues. In what world is this ok?! My previous vehicle is a 2012 Nissan Xterra Pro 4X. It's NEVER been to the dealership. I still have it and I trust it more than my 2024 Gladiator. I don't see myself keeping this thing any longer than 3 years or 36,000 miles 🫤
Thanks. Mine definitely had a pan leak. Just enough to create seepage and dust collection. Not enough to drip on the ground. So when I replaced the pan, I used a new mopar gasket. The new mopar gasket is an entirely different design than the one I removed (2021, late 2020 build). I’m watching it quite closely to see if it continues. The mating surface looked perfect on the tranny itself. No imperfections I could see. I’m hoping the gasket design change is due to the original design leaking. But with everything else I’m working on, it hasn’t moved out of the garage since I did the pan drop. I hate not having driven it after that kind of maintenance, but I don’t have much choice. The gas tank would fall out if I drove it.It was a weird situation.
It APPEARED to be from the rear of the pan - so Jeep said "replace the gasket".
And if that didn't help -
"Replace gasket AND pan"
And if that didn't help - contact JeepCares and talk to the service manager and let them know - hey, driving it home 25 miles and parking it in the garage, getting out and looking under it to find there are already drops on the floor isn't ok.
Several people went through the same thing - sure looks like a pan leak, drops come from the bolt heads and rear edge of the pan, that sort of area.
But in the end, we suspect it was really a porous case!
The 4xe transmission is actually made by ZF proper in Germany. The thing is like what we have, but has no torque converter and instead has a clutch and electric motor in the front end.
Here are pictures with the pan down.It was a weird situation.

Can't hurt to take a GOOD, known straight edge to the pan and the case pan mounting flange if you ever take it apart.Thanks. Mine definitely had a pan leak. The case looked perfect in my opinion. I cleaned it and I think it’s all that was necessary. I think the gasket either failed, or the pan warped due to temperature. Either way, those two things are resolved. Can't hurt to take a GOOD, known straight edge to the pan and the case pan mounting flange if you ever take it apart.
Just for good measure, I obviously hit every single Allen bolt shown with my mid torque impact. And just held that trigger down like a psychopath. I figured it was fine. Here are pictures with the pan down.
