Uconnect remote lock and unlock

Has ayone had problems with their Lock and unlock from the Uconnect app since the 3 G was turned off? Mine stoped working and so did my WIFI Hot spot

I rarely use the Uconnect app but have on occasion. I have been trying to use this for a few minutes this morning after seeing your post and it has not triggered my locks. The cursor just keeps scrolling like it’s trying to find it.
The hot spot on my jeep has lapsed and I didn’t renew it. This is unrelated to the app because I have used the app since the trial subscription ended. This isn’t a huge deal for me because I didn’t use either enough to matter whether I have them or not but if I was dependent on either then I would be a bummer for sure.

The 3G shutdown should not have affected you. There are some threads on issues with the hotspot not working. Try resetting the radio (fuse 97?). The reset methods are in the other threads.

I did just see on another thread that both are subscription Services so maybe they have ran their course and haven’t been renewed???

I know I have subscribed to anything so that could be my issue. Just a thought…

I believe Uconnect uses the 4G network. It works like shit though. I can run around shaving, showering, etc before it will get the command. The vehicle health report is very random as well. If I ask alexa how much gas I have, it will be from a couple weeks ago.

I was on the phone with ATT and the radio is recieving the signal but the system is not working. I guess I will have to spend eons at the dealership

Just curious, what is the use case for unlocking locking using uconnect vs the fob? Only thing I could think of was if you forgot to lock it and remembered when you were too far away to use the fob.

Interesting. I have the same problem. I can’t lock, unlock or start the vehicle from my phone but I can see the vehicles current stats (Mileage, systems, etc.) how do you reset the radio?

I use it with an alexa routine to start my truck every morning at 7am while I'm getting my kids ready for school.

I don’t use the lock/unlock much but the remote start is money in the cold winter months. It’s nice coming out of the airport to warm vehicle. I was bored at LAX the other day and it worked all the way to Montana.
