Woah woah woah! I contacted true city months ago before I was even on the forum. He emailed me the day he made an account. His dealership is like 65 miles away from me. I think I deserve the credit ;-). (Although you did make this thread)
Fine fine, you can take your credit back,my bad.

I personally think my post was the last straw to push one or two over the edge. LOL. I’m not arguing for credit though or floor mats. I’ll give credit to Travis for the killer deal. All I want now is to drive off in a Gladiator.

So, will do we know yet if the discount will apply to the LE? Le would cost me $700 more than how mine would have been option anyways so not a big deal. I wouldn't get the LE however if we don't get it at 7% off

I talked to Travis today. He gave me all the info he could. Still a lot of unknowns. Either way, I am on the list for ordering.

It must be so frustrating to be a dealer right now. My local one had less info than I do even today. You could tell he wasn't happy about it. FCA needs to get its dealer communication act together.

He just told me a few minutes ago that Launch Edition will be sold at invoice. The 1% discount applies for Tread Lightly and Military rebate is available. This changes things a little. 6% of discount is substantial just to get one early.

I swung by the local dealer on the way home to look at a JL in Granite. Sales guy immediately swooped in. Told him I was just looking at the color to see how it would look on a Gladiator. His response: "A what?"

Yeah I'm out on LE then. Not worth the thousands. Looks like I get my dark saddle seats after all.

well that changes everything.
well OK, not everything, but approximately what, 2500 NO DEALs.
At least for me.
In a way it'd be better, I'll order basically the same but Gobi.

Everybody needs to think about this...all the future rubi owners. If your going to build your Rubicon up your going to be losing some very expensive stuff that you will be essentially tossing away. This is my pitch for the sport S. Those fancy fox shocks will be gone for anybody going with 37s. The 33” tires...will be gone to even if you go up to 35s obviously. On the sport S it is now an option to get dana 44 front and rear...also 4.10 gearing...in a sport model. This is insane how well built you can get a sport S for. The only option you need is the max tow. I was hooked on the Rubicon, but when you can get a very capable sport s for 10k less it’s kind of a no brainer. That 10k can go towards an AEV upfit, or lift wheel/tire combo on your own.
