This is my most surprising post to date. 2021 Gladiator Rubicon Ecodiesel. I have been getting appointments throughout the west in an attempt to get an oil change for a month now. Each time I sit around for an hour while they search databases for nonexistent oil filters. Jeep Cares has been working the case. Yesterday they said that even if I could find a filter, oil simply is not available.

Today Jeep said, not only are there over 8,400 people looking for oil filters, there’s no oil anywhere, oh, and fuel filters aren’t available either. They will tell you that they are on ā€œback orderā€ and they even have ā€œshipping datesā€ but the last two shipments that were said to have oil filters didn’t actually have them.

This is crazy

I do my own changes. I’m able to source genuine mopar filters and Valvoline 0w20 full synthetic from Autozone. I also added an oil pan valve to make it effortless with no mess.

Fumoto Original F106S with LC-10... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D99BSPX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

double check the valve model, as I have a 3.6. Obviously my oil type is different than that for the diesel as well. Sorry. It’s small brain Tuesday.

This is just unbelievable.. crazy.... My next visit would be with the General Manager of your Dealership. I would give him a date to have these parts and oil available, or just tell him that you are returning it, and want full credit towards something that they have where the parts are available. This is the worst lack of support stories that I have ever heard..:(

Oil available from ID Parts, along with the filter. RockAuto shows the part number in stock, also (where these came from just last week)

That helps. I haven’t tried there yet. Thank you thank you!

Thank you. I tried Autozone yesterday…. And NAPA, Checker, and everyone else I could think of.

I will definitely keep trying.

Annoying. Sorry to hear. Even though I just changed mine, it makes me want to buy two filters, and 10 quarts of oil proactively. If I were you, I’d buy double if you find stock somewhere.

A possible avenue is to buy the oil and filter, and have them service the Jeep. I would propose that your complimentary "Jeep Wave" free service be noted, with some-sort of comp your way, like a cool Gladiator multi-tool, a Fiat sticker, or Euros.

He’s been unable to find the oil or filter. I guess I shouldn’t assume that desert dog is a he. Seems likely though. :)

As I had posted in an earlier thread, here's a few pics from the first PM A pulled on my EcoD.

Sure, talk to the guy who is not responsible for the issue that likely can't do anything about it.

Then give him a date that he can't meet and threaten to return the truck that he can't take back and you can't make him take back.

While you're at it I recommend that you stick your tongue out at him and conjure up the longest raspberry that you can muster. Follow this up by stomping your feet and telling him that your really really mad.

Sometimes it is out of their control. Like ... oh during an unprecedented viral event and major unprecedented global supply chain breakdown.

The other advice of rock auto and other aftermarket compatible products is likely good advice.

This is likely limited to oem stuff.

I just picked up two oil filters here last week. It's good to have a spare in times like these.

DieselFiltersOnline

Oil was shipped from Wal-Mart. Cheap, but meets the spec. I know there are tons of debates/oil threads, and not wanting to start another, but OP was asking for products and I found these last week. Shipping was very fast and no back orders.
