Great list I second it yet Iā€™d be more than happy w non-ho I6.
And yes, from a lifetime jeep fan almost born in a 65 wagoneer and lifetime CJ fan ā€”> Gladiator is the first genuinely interesting jeep made in decades. I hope Jeepcares can realise itā€™s full potential.

Iā€™m sorry to read of your experience. Itā€™s sounds terrible. Scammers/con artists have been around since dawn of man. My experience is: they generally are the ones that talk the loudest ..

On the other hand many have successful brain surgery daily. Including my best friend, another aussie who is the luckiest man alive to reside in Houston and have had access to your world leading medical services at the University Medical Center, for his maximal resection surgery. His tumour: think of a tennis ball. 38yrs. Perhaps a few too many breaths of crude hydrocarbons when through his nose as a young guy. Who knows? Anyway ..
Another example of the world leading tech and commerce of your fine country good sir. World leading advancement in science, to be clear.

Fundamental science, we canā€™t pick and chose when to believe it. If you pick up a smart phone and enjoy it, get on a plane or get life lifesaving surgery - your a believer.

Iā€™m sorry but itā€™s then hypocritical to deny the truth of the basic first principles of science that underpin climate science.

Inside the industry, at the engineer level ,there are no climate deniers. Itā€™s just like being inside big tobacco in the 70ā€™s and 80ā€™s. Everybody knows the truth. So PHEV techā€¦

Your US owned IP PHEV jeep tech matters. Mileage matters. Reducing demand for oil matters.

Every gallon of gasoline burned makes about 20lbs of CO2 gasā€¦ the importance of understanding the chemistry is clear.

Anthropogenic (human) caused CO2 & Methane emissions now cause equivalent heat energy addition of something like 400-600 Hiroshima events daily being added to the planet.

So I hope it can be seen why every MPG matters. Why PHEV matters. It matters to everyone. Especially our children. Who will carry the burden of our actions.

And on the matter of why does tech need to March onwards? Ummmā€¦Your fine free country holds the preeminent position in the world, leads the world in tech, commerce and militarily (thanks Jesus). And Iā€™ll just say this much. If it didnā€™t lead the world in tech and commerce, it would not remain in charge of the world for long. Ponder that my friends. Scares the crap outa me.

Therefore I6PHEV pls Jeepcares. Iā€™m all in all in all in. I will support your product if it contains your world leading power train tech within the classic old school platform of the Jeep Gladiator. Itā€™s already unique and that would make it incredibly unique.
And not all of us want leather n chrome with our serving of PHEV pls Thankyou ..
It is true the US has some of the best medical technologies and capabilities in the world. I never said it didn't. However, what I did say is it is a terrible idea to blindly believe in any random doctor just because they are a 'doctor' and just because 'science'. Science has been used in very bad ways time and time again over the history of mankind. I'm glad your friend is well.

You can choose to believe whatever you want. That is free will and free choice. But just because you choose to believe a particular thing or method does not automatically make it right, and it also does not make something someone else believes automatically wrong. Just like I said before, it is a fallacy to think that science is the end all be all right answer to everything. It has been shown time and time again to have major flaws and problems - mostly because of human error.

Much of 'science' is motivated by reasons not necessarily honorable. Numbers and graphs and things can all be manipulated very easily to portray a story that is flat out wrong. It behooves anybody to 'trust but verify'. Not doing so is ignorance.

Go back to letting the customer order the Jeep they want. Now I have no desire to order a 24 Gladiator because with the options I want I have to order the Rubicon X and I hate the God awful body color hard top. How about an extreme recon package for the Gladiator.

Please make more colors permanently available, even at an extra cost. Colors such as Gobi and Gator would be great.

Love this. Well stated without being accusational, defensive, or aggressive. I'm sure you offended someone though ?

More colors. The current pallet is boring and undesirable to many. I wouldn't own a Gladiator if it was not Snazzberry. My wife was done with White, Black, Silver, Grey. You don't need 3 Grey's.

The ability to option what you want on a custom order. While I understand the financial savings that a one package fits all will generate, it's a disservice to the consumer.

Bring back the diesel. This is a desirable engine. The tree huggers need to get a life and CARB just needs to go away.

This. With my wife's health issues the past 7 years, doctors don't know everything and are wrong more often than not.

I would love an option for Jeep to properly isolate steel and aluminum. I love spending this much on bubbling paint and having it at the dealer for a few months, only to have to worry about it happening again outside of warranty.

2020 Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition Rubicon
My 2020 Gladiator Rubicon launch edition is my 6th new Jeep since 97.

Jeep use to be a vehicle the average person could afford. Sadly, the pricing has gone way too much towards luxury for the masses, and less economical utility machine that the average person can buy, modify, and take on off-road adventures.

For me to consider trading in my 2020 for a new Gladiator the pricing has to be much better and a new more powerful modern engine is a must. I've had two 3.6 litres fail on me, plus it is just underpowered for a Jeep truck and too old to justify modern pricing.

I would also love to see new Jeeps have:
  • Full floating rear axle for Rubicon (why the Wrangler and not the Gladiator???)
  • Rubicon Recon option for the JT
  • Fender flare extensions
  • ventilated seats
  • Sectioned hard top that can be removed in sections and stored on bed and/or soft top that folds down to the bed
  • Carpet delete option
  • wireless CarPlay

A reasonable V8. ā€” Iā€™d sell my Mojave for a 392. The only thing I *really* miss about myX5M is the power. It was magical. The 392 would also help those that tow more than a lawn mower to the shop. If not the 392 at least the I6 hurricane with the TT.

A 35ā€ tire option from the factory. They fit fine on my Mojave without any lift and are, maybe were, an option for the JL so there is no reason mechanically to not offer them.

Wireless CarPlay is an easy add for the factory. Takes care of a bunch of issues and, as has been pointed out, it is 2024.

A way to silence the multiple honks within settings. While I understand it can be done through a tazer, I really do not understand why JEEP doesnā€™t give the owner control over it. No other car I own, or have owned, restricts this type of ā€˜warningā€™ being shut off.

Activate the alarm system for the hood. It is there, and it is apparently activated in other markets, yet not in the U.S. One wonders why ā€¦. Oh, thatā€™s right because the government doesnā€™t make Jeep do it in the U.S.

A hood that actually locks from the factory.

Keyless entry that works with all four doors and the tailgate. I know, first world problem but it is a very easy addition when the truck is being built. The majority of the technology / hardware is already they. Just extend the sensors to all four doors and the tailgate so I do not have to dig around to find the key fob.

The key fob. Really???!!!! No excuse. It is stupid. Plain and simple.

Auto up / down windows. Put the window controls in the doors instead of the center stack. I know it would cause a problem for people who take their doors off but Iā€™m not one of them. Of course if you have the doors off you donā€™t need to worry about the windows since they arenā€™t there.

The ability to raise / lower windows from the HUGE key fob.

Eliminate the fold down windshield. Yes, I know it is heresy around here but I will never ever in a million years use it. It is not 1945 and Iā€™m not in Germany following Patton. It is an anachronism today and it keeps them from leaning the windshield back every so slightly. It also unnecessarily and dangerously increases the size of the A pillar.

USB power outlets located where they do not stick out of the dash ripe to be knocked and broken by a knee, or foot, or anything else. A couple outlets on the top of the dash is a great idea as well.

Wireless phone charging. (To go with the wireless CarPlay)

Seats that can actually drop the front of the bolster just a little lower. Not all of us are 6ā€™5ā€.

My son would say heated rear seats as well.

Turn off the license plate lights in reverse, or move the camera.

Standard rear and side radar / collision avoidance.

Sound insulation option. Check a box and the factory actually adds in some real sound deadening under the carpet or rubber floors and other areas.

Power sliding rear window option. Or better, the ability to put the glass down like the old 4Runner.

More options to configure your drivetrain the way you want it. I would actually have liked to be able to order full-time 4wd as an option with LSDā€™s and lockers. According to the web site that was not available.

Same with the transmission. Let me put the heavier duty A/T in my truck if I want to pay a nominal amount more for it.

Factory fuel economy would take a hit, resulting in poor ratings and more reason for ESS.

Iā€™m not sure that matters since the JL had the xr option with the 35ā€™s. Admittedly I donā€™t know much about how the CAFE certification process works, I.e. whether the account for every possible configuration or merely a ā€˜standardā€™ configuration.

I'm waiting for a Ramcharger/Rivian/lightning range extended style ev gladiator that could tow 10k+, 0-60 in 4 secs, have portable power. I'd use for ORV like beaches and forest roads. I don't think everyone needs rock climbing. Call it what you want. I thought there was going to be an innovative powerplant announcement at the 2023 Detroit auto show, which I attended, and i was extremely disappointed. The ramcharger seems like an interesting concept like diesel electric train engines. It would seem to be a no-brainer for an overlanding rig like the Gladiator. Abysmal mpg, less than great towing, and a slow poke engine have kept me from buying one.
