I never had rub. Just that the Jt absolutely didn’t turn the same with the larger tires. Not nearly as tight as it does with 245 or 255s.How did your turning radius improve? Mine never rub.

At this point I pretty much only use take off bronco 255/75/17 dueler ATs. Which thankfully are inexpensive and plentifulToo bad you’re in DE, I sold my take offs for cheap.
I don’t quite understand that, but no reason not to believe you.I never had rub. Just that the Jt absolutely didn’t turn the same with the larger tires. Not nearly as tight as it does with 245 or 255s.
What bronco? The sport? I didn’t think any of the bigger broncos had tires that small, but maybe the base model. At this point I pretty much only use take off bronco 255/75/17 dueler ATs. Which thankfully are inexpensive and plentiful
?? Not sure what model haha all I know is I will happily profit from them immediately removing the tires i like and selling them on the cheap! HahaWhat bronco? The sport? I didn’t think any of the bigger broncos had tires that small, but maybe the base model.
yea i guess it’s anecdotal. I just felt like my turning radius improved when i went back to 255sI don’t quite understand that, but no reason not to believe you.
My Dueler all seasons were good tires for what they were. They were quiet and rode well and had good on road traction. I just couldn’t stand the look and I needed a little bigger tire for the beach sometimes.
Somehow, the bigger, heavier tires make it feel more stable and track better. I joke that Jeep engineers knew that most people put bigger tires on their Jeeps, so they design them around it.
I thought payload was already 1100 stock? In case anyone was wondering I shaved about 86 pounds off my Rubicon by swapping to overland wheels and tires, amp research power steps and the sunrider top. Giving me 1010 on payload now….

Bicycle manufacturers know people want lighter higher end wheels on bikes, but they don’t sell many bikes with high end wheels as factory options. They sell more bikes and profit more by decreasing prices by a grand or two. They design the bikes to expect those upgrades. Then they sell the high end wheels as expensive accessories. Jeep is likely no different. They could sell a ton of Jeeps with, for example, 2” lifts from the factory. They make more money selling mopar aftermarket lift kits.I don’t quite understand that, but no reason not to believe you.

No wife to help me increase my JT payload but I'm working on the same system. My wife has a way for me to increase the payload of my truck. There's a lot more salads and fruits in the fridge........ I figure I can increase the payload of my truck by 25 pounds by mid-summer.
I've added back 17 lbs so far this month. Yesterday morning my DR. gave me a recommendation for diet changes to almost the exact diet I'm already trying to follow.#FactsBicycle manufacturers know people want lighter higher end wheels on bikes, but they don’t sell many bikes with high end wheels as factory options. I believe the steering on my JL improved when I went from 285s to 315s.Somehow, the bigger, heavier tires make it feel more stable and track better. I joke that Jeep engineers knew that most people put bigger tires on their Jeeps, so they design them around it.
Actually mine as delivered was 924 off the door sticker, after swapping everything went to the cat scale and reweighed full of fuel and subtracted that weight from max of 6450 and now sit at 1010…Rubicon payload with stock tires is actually 1200
Weird, my sticker stock says 1043Actually mine as delivered was 924 off the door sticker, after swapping everything went to the cat scale and reweighed full of fuel and subtracted that weight from max of 6450 and now sit at 1010…
