OP said getting a Mojave, so no trailcam to block... May want to add a harness and some pillows for the Wench...
My Mojave has a front cam. It's perfect so I can check up on my Wench to make sure everything is OK.

I'd really like to get a wench. I don't think my wife will let me though.
If you keep the wench hidden on the front of the Jeep, and back into the driveway, will she even know?

New wench considerations:
Make sure to remove all unnecessary packaging.
a little alcohol may help to remove some of the clinging remains,
Be careful not to use to much or you may impair your wench and render it useless,
Next prepare to mount your wench to the front or rear depending on your needs.
The seals on a new wench are very tight so use a bit of lubricant.
Its ok if your wench squeals a little the first time you use it, that is part of the break in period.
make sure to unwind your wench every now and then so they don't bind up.
Take good care of your wench and they will give you many years of service.

Hello all soon I'm going to be apart of the jeep family. I'm currently looking at buying a Jeep Gadiator Mojave. With front mount trail cam. With that being said could I still mount a wench to it even though having trail cam.

-TIA
Josh
I’ve been mounting wench’s for decades on all kinds of bumpers

I've always heard that it is cheaper to rent a wench than to buy one ...

You may be better served by renting. If in the future it does not pull to your liking, you can return it no questions asked ..

It’s all good advice.

When I finally stopped testing the different wenches on the marked and committed to buying one, it didn’t take long to realize owning the wench was not nearly as exciting.

I quickly realized the wench wasn’t always going to perform “on demand” as I had expected going into ownership. In fact, I ended up practically having to beg for the tiniest tug.
But, I committed to my decision and now I have to live with it—even if it just seems to be weighing me down these days.

I always have my self-operated hand crank wench to get me by.
