Tie downs and rope! Never know where you're gonna find that antique dresser or table. I packed an antique dining room table from Vancouver BC to Sacramento on the back of a '74 Pinto hatchback!

Copenhagen and too many Monster energy drinks. Everything I need for the trail pretty much stays in the Jeep full time. Wild hairs are common occurrences so never know when I’ll be in the dirt. With trails less than 5 miles away it pays to be ready at all times.

Curious what the one thing is you MUST bring on the road with you.

Could be gear, tools, camping stuff, snacks… whatever’s considered essential at this point 😄

Jumper cables and a long recovery strap, just in case.

Retired. Finally !!
Every military Jeep has "pioneer tools" onboard. My M38A1 had them, so every Jeep thereafter has them. This Gladiator is no exception. On the Molle panels in the bed I have a full size axe and a shovel clamped to the panels. Also a fire extinguisher, a coil of rope and a full sized first aid kit mounted on the panels. At the head of the bed, that Molle panel has the Freedom top storage bag rolled and strapped to the panel.

I'm attempting to find a way to mount a carrier for my military 5 gal. Scepter water can and a Nato gas can. With my hard trifold, the cans are too tall to stand upright. I have carriers for both of the cans, just trying to find a good way to mount them to the panels. Once I figure that out, the mounts will remain empty until needed, the cans will be in the garage.

I have a little storage thingy that sits between the two backseats. In it I always have: medkit, umbrella, toilet paper, wet wipes, kleenex, a kite, and a hacky sack
