Hello , I’m looking to up grade my oem falken at3 to a 35” size . These will be mounted to the oem rubicon rims . I want to stay with a aggressive all terrain over a mud terrain. I have 3.73 gears so I would like to stay as light as possible. This is my daily so road noise , fuel economy etc is important . Thanks for your recommendations

I just got Nitto Ridge Grapplers, and absolutely love them. Super quiet, but not sure where they fall on the weight scale.

I have BFG KO2s A/T and love them
Have you measured the height of them ? I’ve herd they run small for their rates size . I feel they wouldn’t look like much of a difference from my 285/70/17 falken at3

I've had Yokohama Geolandar X-ATs on my Sport S with 3.73s since January and I absolutely love them. Aggressive and fairly quiet, and I think they look great. They also weigh about 70 lbs a piece.

I will look up the weight on all these tires later on . Should I be concerned with rubbing using the stock rims ? I wouldn’t think so with 35” , I’m also doing rubicon suspension swap and daystar front 1.5 and 3/4 rear spacer with front lower control arms

You should be fine with those suspension changes

Great because I wasn’t looking to change the rims as well , I really like the rubicon gun metal rims

Toyo makes the AT III in 35x11.5x17. one of the lightest 35s you can get.

Yes I’d really like to stay away from 12.50 wide if possible , I had 12.50 MTZ on my 2014 2 door manual and it made it a dog

Those Toyos look awesome and it would be great to not have such a wide tire on stock rims and save the added weight. I have always like thinner tires instead of wider, especially for daily drivers. Wish I would have went with these instead of the Toyo 33s that I put on. These 35 will be my next set of tires. Thanks for sharing!

They all run smaller than actual size by at least .5", the BFGs come in at 34.1" on my Gladiator. If you want a true 35 better look at 37's which come in at normally 35.6 for most brands mounted. The BFG KO2 is probably the lightest option. When mine out I'm going to 37's in the tire. On my 4th set if BFGs and I want run another brand on my daily driver. IMO it's the best all around tire on the market.

Here's mine with 1.75" wheel spacers and without the wheel spacers on 2.5" lift. I average around 18.5-19 MPGs in the city and about 21 MPGs on anything over a hour ride.

With spacers
