What a good dealer service department looks like

I've always been happy with my service department but this recent level of effort on a relatively petty problem goes above and beyond, had to give them props. I had a slitghly annoying buzz / vibration from one rear speaker. Just look at the notes this tech put in. Even if they didn't actually do all this it was a lot of effort just to create the notes .

Anyone in Atlanta / North Georgia its worth the trip to Palmer CDJR in Roswell, GA.

Im pretty concerned about my local Jeep dealer. They have already demonstrated some incompetence. I might have to bring my Acura dealer for maintenance. Warranty work scares me even more

Indeed, it took me a while to discover this one and I pass 3 other CDJR dealers to get to them, including one less than 10 minutes from my home. Probably somewhat helps in Atlanta there is competition.

I have found excellent service at one of the new dealerships in my area. Kind of interesting, it is part of a huge (statewide) dealership and most of the service departments are terrible, this one is excellent. CDJR OKEMOS, MI.

I'd also like to compliment Kamaina Motors in Hilo, Hawaii. A great service manager team and staff. When I had the clutch recall completed they noticed a valve cover leak and repaired it before calling me to pick up the Glad. In a world where we're all bitchin' about service it's special to find good service. On the Big Island there is one dealer so for them to be superior is above and beyond.

Tallahassee Dodge Jeep dealer ship kept my jeep Grand Cherokee for 3 months over a buzz in the dash.
Hey they found the buzz. But, killed the cruise. Took it back for another month.
Said we have the cruise fixed.

I went thru 3 stealerships before I found a trustworthy one. Pristine shop, windows from the customer waiting area to the bays so you can watch them work, and awesome service writers! No up-sale BS either. I've been going there for 10 years for stuff I don't (or won't) do myself. Fitzgeralds Jeep, Clearwater, FL.

Check back in a month and see if the tech is still working there, though. You could have got the FNG who hasn't been beat and demoralized into not caring yet.

Ok I was skeptical about buying from a dealer one hour away, instead of 30 minutes. But for the $15,000 discount at the time? That means a Sport S with all the safety and convenience options I want was MSRP at $51,400, down to $36,400! But after used the two free oil changes and tire rotation at the same dealer, figuring just to get to know them. Then at 14,000 I was introduced to the dreaded death wobble. So I call and made an appointment. Within 15 minutes of arriving I was handed the keys to a Gladiator with only 980 miles very similar to mine. Then called the following Monday saying mine was ready. They replaced the steering damper with a new one and realigned the front. That the outcome was a better driving experience than ever! Straight wheel with return to center. Then after a couple more oil changes and tire rotation at $75 each when I buy 2 at a time. Then a month ago at 24,780 miles the truck was dead in my garage!? So I called the nearest dealer who Jeep Cares would tow it to, they said about a week! So I called my dealer, the service manager told me they couldn’t come an hour away without a charge, but if I could jump start and get down there he would have a tech test the batteries to be sure and satisfy the warranty department within a n hour or two. So I decided that was my plan of action. I am also capable of changing both batteries myself, but under warranty? Long story short I arrived at noon and got comfortable. Just about one hour after the service writer came over to say I was all set! So far so good. The 5 Star Dealers name if Thunder JCDR IN Bartow, Fl. I can honestly recommend them for sales and service.
