Have you ever seen synthetic rope snap under pressure? I have, watched 25 feet of 5/8" recoil back. Snapped at the vehicle end and hit a fence 10 feet behind the stump it was attached to. Hit hard enough that I wouldn't want of been hit by it.If your using synthetic rope you don’t really need a cable damper.

Sure it wasn't as bad as steel cable would of been, but it was pretty bad.

Picked up a set of Redline Tuning Hood Struts during Amazon Big Prime Days. Didn't need them but for the price why not? Adds more accessibility to the space too. I had a set on my Mustang and it made a big difference back then
Yep Got them for my 2021 Mojave and also got a set for the wife's 2022 Civic limited so much nicer to do anything under the hood .Liked them so much I transferred them from my 2020 to my 2022 when I traded and almost immediately installed a set on my wife's JLU right after we bought it..
