So today starting at 10am and finishing at 6pm with an hour ir so for lunch me and my Uncle Rick replaced Sparkplugs , Coil Packs , and injectors. And the camsensor on the drivers bank 2, plus both seals on each bank for the high lift cam oil sensors. In the one pick you will see the O-ring lube. That stuff was amazing. Also cleaned the plenum out with Non non-chlorinated brake cleaner and also cleaned the throttle body out ,and the EGR valve got a very thorough cleaning as well. This was a thorough cleaning. the o-ring lube was also used on the 6 new plenum seals that I also installed. It was a big job . But I was amazed at the increased power and acceleration. Even holding a higher gear on several hills I travel alot so I know this wasnt placebo
In the pics you will several plugs and gap measurements. #6 was the worst and probably where I was getting an occasional rough idle when cold. They ranged in gap from 43-46 .
P.S. shoot out to @WILDHOBO & @Maximus Gladius for some links to the lift solenoid seals and both on several guidance tips.

Wow, you did a lot. Those sensor seals seep oil on both my JL and JT. The JL will get new ones for the second time. Looks like a bad design somehow.

How many miles do you have on yours?

Great pics!

They do not recommend those old school coin gapping tools for iridium plugs to spread the gap as the drag can take the iridium coating off the tips.

Something like this tool is generally recommended to pry up the side electrode without scraping on the center electrode tip.

Good to know! Do you have a link for where to buy one of those?

Just Google "Lang 4450A" and go from there. It is a sub $10 tool but pricing shipped is all over the place. I picked mine up years ago from Amazon for like $7 but it is now showing $16 and shipped by a third party seller.

This Ebay listing is the cheapest shipped to your door price for $10.41 I could find.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/363334190290

I will also say, practice with it on a used spark plug as it takes some finesse.

Inside (side you don't see when they're mounted under the truck) painted red. Can't decide if I'm going to do a second coat. Outside will be black Herculiner.

Not sure about liner spray , others do it, it works but if you are using your skids everything including galvanized gets scratched off, I use my belly skids hard as I am unlifted, have had to upgrade the oil pan skid and am using the UHMW board on bottom to slide better , which is nice. I paint everything underneath as I live in the NE Salt belt , and gloss black Primer/paint combo works good, when skids are really trashed a pad sander can smooth them out for a quick repaint. The liner would start getting rougher looking after two or three recoats. If you use the skids I would try not to draw attention to them as I don’t care what brand they are they will bend scratch and take a beating, hide it in the shadows with black color.
Oh yeah I love your Jeep…..Jack

Did you have to replace the steering wheel to add the paddle shifters?
Nope, they fit the OEM Rubi wheel. The only thing is to add a few washers to the backside of the paddle when you screw it into place because they are a little fatter than the non-paddle part, so they don't quite tighten down all the way. Washers take up the space and allow it to tighten and not break.

Paint all red, then the black. Make the scuffs easier to spot and patch!

Doing not done!
Installing a Armorlite floor for Glady. Thought putting out in sun would help.
Thank you Armorlite for donating this to the recent Tread Lightly auction and helping them out and myself to! Perhaps if things go well I’ll get the Mojave X springs and half inch spacers done up front also…..Jack

I referenced this a little and where I learned about the washers, but otherwise it was straight forward enough that i just went slow and took plenty of pictures along the way to know how to reroute the harness.

I used this to figure out how the air bag connectors

Got off work a little early today and installed the JKS Manufacturing front track bar this afternoon. Used 9/16" Grade 8 hardware. I will say there was a lot of preload on the Rusty's Off Road track bar reinforcement bracket as it was installed loose with the OEM track bar and everything tighten down. Had to loosen things up again to get the new JKS track bar installed.

What do you think of the JKS quality? Curious about their sway bar links.
