I'll say it for you, SHOOTERS ARE FILTHY ANIMALS THAT ARE GOING TO GET THE DESERTS CLOSED AND OHV BANNED.

I am so tried of picking up shooter trash. They need to section off a part of the landfill and let shooters go there or just ban shooting out right on national lands if they can't control themselves.

As a responsible ’shooter’ myself…..and on behalf of all the other responsible shooters….Seriously?? You’re an idiot.

Yup…I had to say it….. If you are exposed to this type of trash on a regular basis, then I’d say…. Get off your ass and do something about it!! Call a local GUN CLUB & get them involved to help you fix the problem. I’m sure there are laws and regulations NOT allowing people to shoot in these locations. OH…and I’m sure littering is illegal also. Get some cameras installed…. Take some photos of license plates….report them to the police.

Maybe it's different in PA, but out here in AZ they are Bro's with AR's living out some video game/social media fantasy or jerks that are too cheap to join a gun club and rather go out to the desert and treat it like a dumping ground. Jan, you are out of touch and unfamiliar with the southwest and national forests. You are allowed to shoot where you want as long as it's responsable and you pick up after yourself, but that right was never intended to turn every shooting spot into a gun range devoid of foliage and fauna and encroach on other user groups rights to also enjoy the land and not get shot in the process.

As for LEO, they are underfunded and understaffed and whatever FS LEO there is, they usually get called to support border patrol activity and get pulled from national forests that are assigned to. As for sheriffs, their jurisdiction stops at the road, and FS LEO starts past the road.....

And I do all the the things you suggest (I am very activate in multiple organizations that do outreach), but it does little when you get self entitled adult children that have drank some sort of Koolaid that makes them think they can do what they want because they have a constitutional right....

Jan, when a child gets shoot recreating by an adult child living rambo fantasies, would you like me to send your thoughts and prayers to the family?

If those folks didn’t have guns, they’d have other things…… ATV’s, skateboards, motorcycles, bikes, pets…. whatever. You wouldn’t be complaining about it because the trash would be somewhere else - trails, parks, streets, neighborhoods, wooded areas….. It would be ‘out of your sight’ and ‘out of your mind’. - so you automatically blame the shooter.

Took her up to the mountains in search of snow. Sadly, not much left where we went. On the way out, we rescued a nice couple stuck in the mud. Bonus! Didn't have my recovery gear, but we made it work with the winch.

Sometimes that’s just enough to keep your both from getting stuck
