It was a day. Almost nothing on my cell phone. Just cam footage. To say it was a tough day would be a major understatement. The picture with the winch hooked up was before having to run it forward to a tree about 125’ away to get up the last bit.
I did both a solo sunset run and a group run at night. It is def a cool ride.Did a planned solo night run of Lost World in Moab. It was so much fun. Like being on another planet at night. Tons of wildlife. The jackrabbits were so cool. I must have seen a hundred of them.
Did you get a chance to check out the new state park where rapter used to be? I tent camped there when I did the Utah BDR in June, and they’ve done a nice job on the development…even flush toilets…a pleasant site when you are moto camping for 8 days over 1100 miles…Did a planned solo night run of Lost World in Moab. Did you have to do any winching out there?Today did Kane Creek Canyon. This trail is bonkers fun. It’s now in my top five Moab trails. Everything about this trail was fantastic. It surprises you at every turn. So many obstacles make you go, WTF?!!! But then you start the obstacle and realize that it’s the most fun ever. And that happens a hundred times on this trail. I thought I was the only Jeep on the trail, but found two JLU’s working on hamburger hill. I was worried it was going to be nasty, but was able to get it on the first try. I have absolutely no idea how though, and I’m positive I can’t reproduce it. But it was Fan-Fing-Tastic.
