This was yesterday but finally uploaded some footage.

Tillamook state forest Oregon. Browns camp OHV Park.

Took some damage to my muffler and took some rock rash on the some wheels, few other scrapes. This is what I bought it for so more to come.

Some video I took with no editing.

It was a good day. We had a dry summer so far and just got some rain. Definitely made it a fun day, I am not worried about dings or rock rash. One reason I bought my JT is to have fun rock crawling and take the family to the beach and what not.

Quite a ways up from where I go in the spring but it doesn't look too far from where you have listed as home.
I go up to central Oregon for two weeks in the spring and camp for 4 days with my older brother in East Fort Rock to ride dirt bikes. Now that I have my Gladiator I've been thinking of looking for some places to 4x4 with the truck. Home base is Veneta so one thought is checking out the dunes for a day but I know there's a whole lot more up there.
Can't go to Oregon without doing some fishing either.

Same here. I bought the Mojave as my weekend escape vehicle. It's getting some marks but I'm trying to not destroy it because I can't afford a lot for repairs. That is why we have skid plates after all. ;)

Looking
Hauled home some Rock Hard 4x4 tube down sliders. I ordered them while at the Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion. No shipping cost when ordering at the show, and got a hat for me and tshirt for the fiance out of it too. Friendly, informative, answered all my questions (it was already my top pick before I got there), and saved me some money too.

Ships to a freight center, so picked it up and hauled it home today.

Me and wife went to Rower Flats, fun place.

Seeing that you're in SoCal I had to look that place up. My Stepson lives in Acton. We'll have to go check that place out if I can get him to go somewhere different than his back yard.

Never been to east fork but I've rode china hat a bunch and shoot ground squirrels in Christmas valley. If you have never rode the tillamook state forest you are missing out. Browns camp is ok for dirt bikes but there are a lot better places with some awesome single track. Best part is all the areas are within 20mins of each other. I am 30mins from browns camp, makes it nice for day trips. Sand lake is about 1hr and 30mins from me as well, it's OK for a day in the sand but it the size of a cat litter box. Florence, coos bay, and Winchester bay are the best for sand riding.

I have skid plate but haven't installed them yet lol, waiting on my LoD sliders to come in. I don't want to trash my rig either but bumps and scapes are bound to happen. The first rock/tree rub to the body is the hardest after that as long ad it mechanically sound good to go lol.

I didn't have the Gladiator on previous trips so my next trip will include some 4x4.

I have the factory Skid plates plus an optional Trans plate.
They have been collecting scrapes but no hard damage.

Here's from my window sticker:
Fuel Tank Skid–Plate Shield
Transfer Case Skid–Plate Shield
Front Bumper Skid–Plate
Optional Transmission Skid–Plate

It would be pretty cool to have a full belly plate but I think the cost and extra weight kind of count that out.

I agree, we have to get our money's worth and so far my wife and I have been having a blast. We've had some pretty good toe curlers both in the hills close to our house and places an hour or so away. As we get more experience the stuff that seemed rough in the beginning is everyday fun now.

I have the oem skid plates the rubicon came with. They seem pretty durable for sure but if I am going to turtle on some rocks I want full belly plates lol. My muffler would of been ok if I had them installed. Hit me up for sure if you find yourself wanting to see some trails over here, We can set up a good day trip.

Same here on the muffler. Mine's set up a little different than yours. It's round and more in the center but it sticks a little lower than everything else on the sides of it. If it was flattened like yours it would tuck up in there a little better.
We'll be up there in the spring. Sometime in late March or April I believe.

A few days back I got to direct a recovery with a friend. Between my JT and his Ford P/U we recovered a SUV that had slid off and almost rolled over in a pond. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures or video, definitely had to mentor and direct the recovery. Everyone wanted to just hook on and pull it forward or backwards. One of his buddies did pull it back 4-5 ft putting it in the water and almost rolling it already.
I had not the vehicle would have ended up on top under water. The only thing that kept it upright was dumb luck, small tree and mud. Driver's side was in water about a foot deep. "Tom" from Matt's Off-road recovery would have been impressed by the angle. The guy was driving around the pond by his house at night after rain storm.

Lots of technical stuff back there-more than I'm ready for right now. No open fires=no grills, so pack the cooler with sandwiches or a camper stove. It's alot of fun close by-probably just 20 minutes from Acton.

On the way home we stopped at a karaoke bar for late dinner and karaoke.

Did pretty good with the Toby Keith but struggled a bit with some lines from "Brand New Man."

.maybe I’ll crack another cold one and try to figure it out...open to suggestions
Goose Island IPA, but not too cold. Out of fridge into a heavy room temp glass. Brings it up to the perfect temperature.

I'm good for about two days in that saddle then my butt starts complaining.
Luckily, the only time my butt complains is if I eat Mexican food that's been sitting out too long or years ago when I learned my lesson at Golden Corral.
