I'm good for about two days in that saddle then my butt starts complaining.Just wrapped up a 1800+ mile trip to get kid #2 from summer long wilderness camp to his first year of college. The truck is perfectly sized for the task but after the 4th 8 hour day on roads in the north east I kinda wish I was in another vehicle. Curious what others have done to make long distance driving more comfortable. We did make the best of it with some gravel road excursions in the Green Mountains plus some doorless drives with family by the Susquehanna. It still was a lot of seat time.

Luckily, I had only paid for first night so far. But at least it wasn't a long drive home and I did at least have everything in place working.
I mean, I try?. These Jeeps are tough! Some people try really hard to wreck I think. lol.
I guess it depends on why it's uncomfortable, but a lot of people seem to like the Seat Jackers or Seat Slammers for comfort on the legs. Or a dead pedal to rest their foot. I have no experience with any of those yet though.Just wrapped up a 1800+ mile trip to get kid #2 from summer long wilderness camp to his first year of college. Nah, you needs some full pulls with wide open throttle under engine load. Get this rings properly set early.Drove it home from the dealership. I babied it the whole way lol. First 60 miles I made sure to take backroads so I could stay under 55 and vary rpms. After that it was highway driving but in the Virginia hills so RPM's were constantly bouncing around. A few WOT thrown in there, lots of stopping for drinks etc. Tried to keep it under or around 2k as much as possible otherwise.
312 miles down!![]()
