Im a big fan of that style Rubicon hood. I believe it was only on the Hard Rock and Recon models right?
I don't know which ones it came on. I was really just looking for a 2 door manual for a toy and I needed something to drive while my Gladiator is down. I lucked out when I found this one I think. I drove a few hundred miles yesterday and it ran great. It has the hard rock package. I know it's just cosmetics, but they do look cool. Color is growing on me.

Yeah when I was living in Germany my buddy bought one (export version) his came with the cool red seat belts, power dome hood, upgraded rock rails and such and looked identical to yours. I think he paid 60+ thousand euro for it. Id love to do what you did, have a toy on the side, but its hard to find one at a good deal right now.

it has 74,000 miles on it but its really clean. I don't the previous one owner took it Offroad. I paid 29,000 and I paid 3k for a 4yr/150,000 bumper to bumper warranty with towing, etc. I think it was a great deal but I also needed something to drive while I am waiting on my Gladiator axle. I miss my truck though.

What did I do with..... yesterday, one of the saddest days in a long time, a real kick in the gut - took Yawnie, one of my best buddies, for his final ride.
He was so weak and unlikely to cause any trouble I let him have the run of the truck on the way to the vet's office. Actually, I couldn't stand sticking him in a cage/carrier.

Best guess by a vet when he wandered on in 2008 was that he was likely 2 years old at that time.
So I'd say April 2006 - August 30, 2022.

sorry for your loss brother. It’s horrible when you have to do this. I lost my Dane in 2017, still can’t get another. I miss him so much.

It's never a good day when you lose one of your furry kids. I feel bad for you. Everytime someone loses one of their pets. I think about the ones I lost.

I'm the same way. I truly want to get a dog but, I remember the last two I had and, mercifully put them to sleep at the end of their wonderful lives. When I come back, I want to be MY dog because of how I treated them...like my own children, not dogs.

I cried like a baby.

For that reason, I've not gotten another dog because I really can't go through that again :crying::crying::crying:

I'm a total wreck.
Yawnie was so attached to me he'd watch for me out the window and if I was in the garage, he'd sit in the sun room and look out the windows to keep an eye on me.
I'd carry him around the house with him draped over my right arm and he'd once in a while lift his head off my arm, turn and look up at me and nudge my nose with his and lay back on my arm while we walked.
He followed me everywhere. He had to know where I was and be close to me.
I recall watching a program on TV where "experts" were talking about cats- oh, they knew all about cats, and went on and on about how "independent" they are, they only hang around humans for food or warmth or whatever. Martha Stewart was asked about cats on the show and she even said they don't need their people, it's convenience for them. My wife and I looked at each other and thought she must treat her cats like crap. We had a cat that cried when he couldn't find my wife, and Yawnie was so desperate to know where I was at times he'd wander from window to window and look for me. Oh, but it's for warmth - then why would he lay on the floor next to my chair sometimes and occasionally look as if to see if I was still there?

I'd love to get a vinyl decal of some sort made of one or two of his pictures for the tailgate of my truck.
That's what I'd like to do with my truck.

PAPA, I know exactly how your feeling .Last month I had to put my 13 yr.old german shepherd down. I still go out and talk to her at her grave site. That was the 3rd shepherd life goes on. You will always have those special memories to cherish. They are not just pets but family members or I call them my four legged kids .I had to fill that empty void and picked up my new kid last sat. Be strong my friend.
