Went to another desert cleanup event. I always forget to take before shots but we spent about two hours in one spot. I don’t want to say all, but a lot of shooters are filthy animals. We filled up two 20 ft roll off dumpsters. I started renting a trailer so I don’t mess up the truck anymore.

I'll say it for you, SHOOTERS ARE FILTHY ANIMALS THAT ARE GOING TO GET THE DESERTS CLOSED AND OHV BANNED.

I am so tried of picking up shooter trash. They need to section off a part of the landfill and let shooters go there or just ban shooting out right on national lands if they can't control themselves.

Cleaned the inside of the jeep, tried to pair my bluetooth dongle to Jscan. My phone pairs with the obdii dongle but won't connect.

PEOPLE in all are rude and filthy. I enjoy going to the woods to target practice but always pick up more trash than I bring. I also pick up massive amounts of trash left on trails by people off roading. It's not just one group it's PEOPLE in general.

Awesome. I try and do multiple clean ups for shooting groups and off road groups each year. Always pack out more than we pack in.

That’s horrible, and amazing of you to try to mitigate it.

It has always bothered me how messy the shooting places get. Fridges, tv and even couches. Just because you shot it doesn't mean it isn't your responsibility anymore.

Nah, it's not all people. It's shooters they're talking about. They carry an air of entitlement. Bros downing beers giving high fives and popping off a few rounds and then leaving their messy trashy shit behind. You're not finding used knitting needles and model airplane parts out in rural areas. Regular people aren't leaving their hobby trash behind. It's illegally dumped trash that's been shot a million times by gun yahoos.

And Gun yahoos tearing up once undisturbed tracks of land and turning it into a A-10 test range.

At least in my little corner of the world, someone pulls off to the side of the road starts wild cat shooting, leaves a few pallets and busted stuff, then some other yahoo see this and thinks this is a good spot, so they start shooting, next thing you know 200 people have now started shooting in a area that was nature and now it's a dump. It take one jerk to start growing this cancer.

Don't get me started on the folks that are shooting cross trail and without back stops. I have heard to many time of people have bullets whizzing by while they are recreating, even know a guy that had the wheel of his dirt bike shoot.

There is a modern phenomenon where people now think guns are toys, and they are not.

If you don't like what i am say come down to the SW and help with a cleanup or two, better yet get out there and get involved with educating the gun users.

Should come see the piles of trash people just dump in the woods around here. People too cheap to take it to the dump. I see more beer cans on the trails than I do our shooting spots. There are quite a few people leaving garbage but I see the same in all groups. It's not just one group it's society in a whole that is garbage.

All the people I shoot with make people pack out the stuff out. Even if we do not know you we will block you in untill you pick your mess up. Same with off road trips I will throw your can back at you.

I educate anyone in the woods that leaves trash. Not just one group... I've seen plenty of people out night wheeling drinking beer leave a big mess.

I have my own state to help clean up, you hippie state of Oregon would be better but nope.

Well sir, my comments are not meant to be taken as anti-gun just FYI. I have many. I enjoy a good shoot-em-up too. I do have an issue with the douchebag gun culture people though, and that's who I'm actually railing against.

I fish a lot on some remote sections of Texas coast. It's nice and peaceful and the fishing is good year round. No winter here! What do we have though on these beaches? Tons of shotgun shells and dead seagulls. WTF. What kind of jackass shoots seagulls? Or they'll go out there and shoot skeet on the beaches....and poorly I might add. Lots of complete discs that got missed entirely. LOL! Idiots. This is fucking Texas. There is no shortage of legal and proper shooting ranges to get your rocks off.

It's the whole population. I used be in a ATV club when I was younger we did beach clean ups twice a year and we adopted trails in the woods. Like I said it's no just the Gun groups out there leaving a mess. Even going to the local lake to do some trout fishing piles of empty bait containers or tackle packaging same with the rivers. Trash is left by every group and not just one. I spend a lot of time outdoors and not just in my jeep.
