went to a Jeepciñera (go topless event) on fiesta island in san diego. Saw a super slick JT cut down to 2 doors but it was on a 2 door JL wheelbase which imo is unstable for what I like to do. Cool concept though and incredibly well done

I used it to haul off my old stock bumpers and side steps to the city’s spring clean up event. They’ve been in a pile next to the garage because I can’t stand going to the dump.

I have to do it way more than a lifetimes worth dropping construction debris. That line, the smell when it’s hot or that nasty gray muddy water after it rains. 🤮

I installed Carr Hoop II side steps. They are durable and an easy install. My wife is 4'11" and got tired of doing the running jump into the JT and JL. Ha! I bought them from etrailer and I'm very happy with the steps and etrailer as the seller.

You split a pair between two jeeps? I couldn’t do it. Asymmetry irrationally bothers me.

I'm with you on that. My wife asked me what I put one on the drivers side. I said that asymmetry is the work of the devil! 🤣

The brake controller arrived today and will be installed later today (Redarc). Then, I'll install and set up the weight distribution hitch. Since part of the dash will come off, I'll use the time to hardwire my GMRS radio and get rid of the 12-volt socket cable. New Center caps for the wheels came in, now my wheels look better.

Luckily, very little at all needs to come off. The couple parts that need to be removed - IF you put the dial for the controller where the 12v outlet is, takes a couple of minutes.

Yeah I definitely know why. Destin it was ridiculously expensive.

Just picking up wood, hardware cloth to build a chicken run and coop. Nothing much else. Well I topped over 100,000 miles almost 101000 now. So time to drop skid plates change T-case and transmission fluid, axles and oil. But damn weather laying on the wet ground. Gotta knuckle down and do it.
Then hopefully take off on a trip somewhere.
