Went to the mountains to clean up on my property and go fishing with my ACD. Getting 24mpg with 37s and a RTT was nice too.

Did you just do some sort of low bed bar set up? I have been thinking of doing an RTT but dont want the wind drag, I also want to keep items in the bed secure, which it looks like no one can really reach in and take anything from your bed with it that low.

Yes sir, I specifically wanted it as low as possible for the reasons you mentioned. Eventually I'll upgrade to a metal bed cover with mid height Billie bars, but this works well for now.

I found a used set of Mopar trail rails and truck bed cross bars on Facebook marketplace place. They sit very low and make it difficult to remove larger items from the bed. It's held up to trails in Moab and around NM, just make sure to check the bolts every now and then.

It still has enough room to haul stuff and carry all my camping and fishing gear.

Note to self: figure out location for fire extinguisher.
Multiple in multiple locations.
Elements 50s on each side front seats. 2 canister fire extinguisher one on each rear seat area roll bar and a compartment suppression in with LiPO battery. I definitely don't want to test any out. Life lesson one is none. I've got to watch an M1 Abrams tank and M-88 burn on a big NATO training event the same day. I definitely wouldn't have wanted to be at that staff call or the notifications up to higher HQ.

I wanted a RTT for about a min, then my wife put it in perspective, a typical 6 pack (that's what we tell the doctor right?) camping night and 2 am trip to the bathroom or tumble down the ladder however you want to word it!
