Don't take it to the dump! Find a metal salvage/recycler near you and they'll pay you for it. Or give it to a reuse or restore if its in operable condition.
You know what in hind site I would have kept it for the stainless...too late now though.

Recycling trashed appliances. Scrap metal seems down in price.
Scrap prices jumped up here in Ohio a few weeks back but aluminum cans are still stuck @ $.20 a pound. I have been holding on to my beer cans for almost a year now waiting for them to get closer to the $.40 I use to get. My entire attic above my garage is busting full with beer cans:blush:. I hope prices go up before my wife sees how much beer I have been drinking😲

I assume those cans aren’t marked with a deposit. You could do like Newman and Kramer and take em up to Michigan for $0.10 per can. Now, where can you get a mail truck?

Sadly only some groceries, but I'm making some chilli so that's cool. Jeep is misfiring so don't dare go too far before taking it in.

Nice gift. Looks to be Oak from the starburst in the grain. Hard to tell from photos.

I split a bunch of Ash up for kindling for my friends and family last year. It was a big hit.

Looks like a face cord. I was wondering if a gladiator could hold that much!

Wood worked out to about 18" X 4' X 8' and extra on the back porch, I was surprised how much fit, and I didn't touch the sides of cap. Mojave was down in the back a bit but with the 170lb. cap and bunch of Oak and Ash, it was expected, drove well, but only had to go 30 minutes. She was thrilled with her house warming present a day before the snow storm is coming! Me I live on about three and a half acres of woods up a 800 ft. driveway pretty high up, with a lot of trees down, and I have a propane fireplace and propane fire pit! I do handle chain saws well , have pto log splitter, should have a tractor log winch, and have lots of friends and family I help out with wood.......Jack
