Wow that is a ton of through tenon's! Looks good thanks for sharing! One of my most challenging projects.
Just curious - it looks like the sheets are not level? Are they resting on the 2x6 across the wheel wells on both sides?9 sheets of 3/8 plywood
The tailgate can be positioned mostly open (but not flat). This is very useful for things that are more than 5 feet long! My last truck had a 8' bed and I was worried how the gladiator would handle long stock. But this trick works really well!Just curious - it looks like the sheets are not level? I really like those ARE caps - they look great. Wish they held more static and dynamic load though... been looking at an RSI or RLD and they just don't look as integrated.Usually I just haul tools, but I had some delicate cargo today.
Yes, but it you built and inatalled the 2 wooden supports the box is designed to carry your plywood would also sit level and not sloped towards the cab. pretty slick design details are in your manual. The tailgate can be positioned mostly open (but not flat). That's the wrong way to haul long material. Just sold my Suzuki Equator, JTR on order. The bed is over half a foot shorter that the JT. This is how you haul 16' material in a JT.Hauled this 2 months ago, but just found this thread
